What do you do when you can't sleep?  |

 So tonight I can't sleep. I was tired earlier and I went to bed but laid there for an hour thinking about everything. So I couldn't fall asleep. This doesn't happen too often but when it does, it sucks.
What do you do when you can't sleep? Do you get on the internet? Do you read a book or watch t.v? I get online when I can't sleep because my husband and dogs are sleeping and it is quiet. Since it is quiet, I can write more for the sites I write for. Although tonight, I am not writing but instead joining other writing sites and Mylotting.
How about you? What do you do?:)

weird but it's effective for me, LOL
Sometimes I drink hot tea or hot milk and listening to some instrumental..

| 4. jules67 (1891) | 3 months ago |  Lately I have been having problems with sleeping. Sometimes, I could not sleep even if it is already 2am. I guess my adrenalin is still revved up. What I do and I have been successful in doing this is I open the TV and watch until my eyes get tired of watching. I would immediately turn off the TV and there you go, I'll get a good night sleep.

| 5. thaMARKER (1600) | 3 months ago |  this happens to me a lot. almost everyday that's why i don't go home right after my shift. if i can go over time, i'll do that. i don't like bumming without doing anything. i love being alone but as long as there's something that's keeping me occupied like music, reading, talking to myself or playing games on my phone -- things like that. i just don't wanna lie on my bed waiting for some sort of mercy.

| 6. jugsjugs (3163) | 3 months ago |  When i can not sleep i tend to come on the computer and do discussions as i find sometimes that helps to tire me out.Other times i tend to get up and do a bit of house work then i go back to bed and try to go to sleep yet again and hope that i can.

I think it is a little better with the little bit of noise that way my mind doesn't wander as much. Thanks for responding.:) | |
