is saying sorry means your weak?????

Accepting the truth and saying sorry doesn't mean you are weak it means that you are brave enough to admit your fault. Its takes a lot of courage to do something like that. No everyone has that much in them. Its good to say sorry sometimes.

I think it depends on the context in which it's being used.
Some people use it as a polite word and it doesn't mean that they really feel sorry.
The weakness part comes into it when you say sorry for your own opinion that may be disagreeable to others. Nobody should feel that their opinion is worth saying sorry for.

Saying you are sorry means you are strong enough, and brave enough, to take responsibility for your behaviours and your actions. That is a very good thing.

However, saying sorry as a preface to a conversation can indicate you are not comfortable being who you are, or having faith in your convictions and beliefs.

As long as the "sorry" you are using is sincere, you can rarely go wrong by saying it.

if you say sorry it really does not mean you are weak. it means you are polite and more courageous that you can accept that you have committed a wrong thing. i think this is a very good sign. and when ever you say this you also feel that you have done wrong.

and it is good to be flexible rather than a hard stem.
it is said in hindu mythology that the trees which are flexible can stay in storm and which are not are thrown by this.

No, i would first guess your an asian, cause saying sorry most of the time is an asian culture. this is not a sign that you are weak, it is an acknowledgement of your error or mistake. this is a culture difference that we and americans have. Western people are proud people as most told me so themselves. That is why most of them don't say sorry even if its just a small mistake or error, they will only say sorry when they did things that are terribly wrong. For us Asian we are raised differently, we are mostly in the gently side specially women. Thats why the next time you encounter an american, tell him this information. so he will get the idea. And FYI him/her that we Asians may be gentle but we are not weak thats for sure.

Sorry could in a way show that you are weak, but that's good that you are able to say it so easily...as least you don't have any pride. I say sorry "once-in-a-blue" but to do that means I have to admit that I was wrong in the first place, and honestly I don't like being wrong. It's ok to say sorry, here and there, but don't say it all the time. I would hate for a person to tell me sorry a lot, because why do you keep on doing the same stuff over and over, and then to keep saying sorry...its like are you really sorry then.

A teacher once told us to just say sorry ONCE. If you apologized and the message was received, you only need to say it once. I don't think saying sorry shows that you're weak . . . I think it's good to apologize when you feel it is necessary - to live up to a mistake that was made. However, saying it too many times can get an opposite reaction from the person you're apologizing to because then it can get annoying. Like once my friend was extremely late for a party, and she kept saying sorry over and over to everyone . . . ok - ok - we heard you the first time! So, saying sorry is just fine - just once!

Well, for me sometimes it is. but apologizing is a way to make some one felt better that you realize your mistake. it doesn't make you weak but makes your realize your own faults and learn from those mistakes. but there are times now a days where i don't apologize anymore. i felt guilty about it too but probably i would some day...

It depends really on a lot of factors. One thing could be how you say it…saying it too meekly might mean you are sorry while saying it confidently means you accept your mistake but you are not weak.
Secondly, depends on the situation…saying sorry to your friends is one thing, to your parents is something different and among office colleagues or to the boss, its another situation altogether.
Thirdly, in many situations, saying sorry is a small casual thing but it prevents situations from flaring up unnecessarily. Saying sorry in such circumstances, does not mean you are weak, it merely means you are foolish enough not to read things clearly.

i agree with you, i think the person you talk is very stubborn. If you are wrong you should say sorry and i dont think there´s nothing wrong about it. If i do something wrong i always say im sorry and dont feel im weak by saying that
