Devil's words in the Bible

The words of the writers and the devil for me is not the word of the Lord, but they are written for us to learn something about it. I think that you might have made some good research and you can share us some truth from your search. It would be fun and a good lesson for us to know the facts from the Bible. I hope to hear some good explanation from an expert like you.

I would say no at first - I mean the words of the devil would be the words of the devil but God included them in the bible for a reason - God's Word showing us what to watch out for, not to believe the words of the devil, not to listen to the words of the devil, not to be taken in. God wants good for His children and my view is the bible was given for us to learn and know the truth of God's love for all of us.

The Bible is a written record of God's teachings for men. The contents are composed of several types for men to be able to understand. There are quotations from people, from a big fish and even from the devil himself that are included in the Bible. As a whole, the Scriptures are God's word to men.

As you quoted in your response to Learn2earn, ALL Scripture is the Word of God.

The words spoken by the devil are merely a record of what he said, just as words of Adam or David or Isaiah - or Nebuchadnezzar or Pilate or Jezebel and others are a record of what they said. The devil did not record them.

Every word of Scripture is God-breathed and for our instruction. The devil has tried to destroy it over the centuries, but it remains.

I think they are not the word of God, but they are inspired by the Spirit of God to be included in the Bible so that we learn lesson by their inclusion. The same goes for others like "we shall steal" "let us steal" etc.

...I think this whole drama of learning (understanding) good from evil/ life from death/ true from untrue, is a story and narrative that is God's great lesson (being deeply engraved on every heart and mind) namely apocalypse (the lesson and unavoidable truth that what is non-life cannot stand or last very long). The first bound-to-occur rebel thought occurred in Lucifer, and ripened into outright revolt, trickery and sedition therefor, the way I'm thinking of it, the words of Satan (Lucifer turned "opposer") are part of the story, and the whole story (and Truth Drama) is God's Word"..
- I was going to write.. this must be one of those paradoxes.. and I still think that's true.. but i'm leaning toward, the words of the devil aren't God's words, but is (part of) God's Word..
