Revenge....do you ever in your life revenge for something what other person did

Yes, I do think of getting back at somebody for their nasty acts. But, whenever I think of doing it I only end up feeling more bad. Sometimes, when one is also consumed with anger, you only think of ways to get even. You don't think of the consequences. Personally, I would not really do something other than thinking of it because I believe life will get them at some point. Sort of karma and payback time working together. Eventually, they will pay for their acts in the same way that I will pay for mine.

Hi, i don t believe in revenge, just because i don t want to be as he or she was...so, i never pay with same coins, i just wait, and i know that will come one time when she or he will receive what he give; nothing more

I think thinking of about revenge is a human thing. In my experience it lessens as I mature. I think it is a phase we have to go through and overcome eventually.

Let me share with you my experience. This happened 7 years ago. There is this one when my sister and I are parking at a mall. When we are about to park this car just parked exactly where we were meaning to park our car. The driver saw us readying to park there but still he parked exactly at our spot. What I did was remember his plate number. I got a knife a steak knife from one of the restaurant we were eating in, went out and slashed one of his tires. I was thinking that that should teach him a lesson.

Whatever became of him after that I don't know. That is the meanest thing I have done so far and I don't intend to do a repeat. Now I have learned to be calmer and to deal with my anger much better.

i'm sort of the person who want to revenge if someone hurts me. i'm kind and do not hurt others in the first place. but if someone hurts me for no reason i will revenge so that i can feel better. however revenge does not always gives me satisfaction because sometimes i blame myself for what i have done.

maybe in some instances out of your anger that burst in your heart, you might think of it. but the question is, is it worthy to revenge? you'll just make things more complicated. revenge sometimes happened in cycle. the one you revenge, will ormight revenge also against you. then after everything will be worthless.

I don't like revenge, when I's a child I did it sometimes. But now I'll control myself and find if it's worthy for me to do it.
In the most of time, it's worthless.
I won't do it afsp.

Yes honestly I think about it when I am deeply angry. I say to myself "they have to pay for this" etc, but that's all. It's just an expression to my anger, but not more than that. I don't do that, I may be angry for a while, but I'm not a person who likes to revenge.

For me the best revenge is to move on. Take it as an exercise on how to control emotions.

No I don't think about getting back, at somebody because, I think of it like this something bad, may happen to that person, and I will hear about it, and no I won't go to their aid, what goes around, comes around that is how i look at it, you do some one wrong, it's going to come back, on you in another way.

I agree that taking Revenge for a wrong is imbibed in human nature and as I am a normal human being, I also get a bout of scorn when someone does wrong to me and want to take revenge for it, BUT, then comes the morals which have been imparted by Parents, Teachers, Elders and self belief which restrains me from doing so and I feel that the deed done by other goes with that person . So very rarely I have indulged in giving a tit for tat reply .

Actually, I am not a revengeful person. People have done things that were not right and trust me, all sorts of plots play out in my mind while I am upset or hurt. That is as far as I go with it tho. People that go around mistreating others and doing them wrong usually get their just rewards somewhere, somehow in the end. Trying to get revenge on someone usually does little more than cause more problems for the person getting revenge. It also brings them right down to the same level as the person that wronged them so there really is no point.
