money cant buy you happiness... love conquers all...

akotalagato maybe money cannot buy you happiness but the lack ot it sure makes and has made me very unhappy. we were victims of this rotten economy and it lost my son his job, we got evicted, now our family ,he and I, are split with me here in Gold crest retirement center, he in a gov.sponsored apt. with three other guys so they can have an address while they hunt for jobs.we all wish we had had money to keep our apartment and not trash our lives. so yes I think some money can buy you some happiness. and love damned well does not conquer all. You and your hubby need money and I and my son need money, we all have to have the stuff so who says it does not buy happiness?

I agree this idea, I think there is much thing that the money can not buy .for example love .maybe you could use money to married a neauditull girl ,but you can not buy her true heart ,maybe you could but the house ,but you can not family happy ,maybe you can not but the medicine ,but you can not buy the health

Without money , love can't survive long yea , you will still need some money to balance lol

We all have the power to CHOOSE what we deem important in this world. Aren't you choosing that money is more important than your husband??? Go to him with hugs and kisses. As far as money goes, do you really need all the things you buy??? Two ways to make a rich person. 1. Get lots of money. 2. HAVE FEW WANTS!!!you know things in life always have a way of working out. The very best things in life are truly free. Don't give yours up over money. Remember, Happiness is also no more than a CHOICE!

Hello friend, Uhmn,don't get the saying wrong. I guess you were facing financial problem,don't think about yourself alone. Why not look around and look at those poor people around us,who were more miserable. Those people who lives in slum area,with dirty sorroundings. sometimes we always look life uncertain without having consideration how life's been good to us compared to other people. I can understand about your grief,but,your situation(your husband left for a while and you are not in good terms now)won't help to resolve whatever financial problem you were facing right now. Why not talk with him,and think for a better solution instead of having fights or arguments. There is always a solution for everything my friend,just hold on and believed in the high powers above"Lord God". Hope to hear good news from you so soon. Cheers

I love what bird123 wrote before me. Indeed, the greatest things in life are free. Here's a snapshot about your theme, from another perspective. Money will buy you the solution of all of your problems. But you don't know if this situation will bring you happiness. You just assume it will, but you can't be sure. So there's a risk here. The bad news is that if, sometimes in the future, you will be happy because money will let you buy anything you want, in that happiness there is a potential for misery. They cannot exist one without another, because our reality perception of this world is polarized. There's a duality everywhere we look. Up and down, black and white, left and right, man and woman, yin and yang, heaven and hell, good and bad, fat and thin, poor and rich, happiness and misery. Our mind is able to judge the world by moving our entire life between the 2 extremes of a concept, thing, life situation, etc. But it's only our mind who works like this. In reality, the good and the bad is the same thing, like a coin with 2 faces. So happiness will be followed by misery. Happiness is misery because they can turn one into another in a blink of an eye. Even if you are surrounded by money. On the other hand love, true love is the most powerful force in the Universe. True love is not coming from this world, because it has NO OPPOSITE CONCEPT. Do not get confused in thinking that the opposite of love is hate. There is something that looks like true love but actually that one can be better called love-lust. Others are calling it love-hate in order to underline the fact that they are talking about one thing with 2 forms. The last one is what we use to encounter during our life and we call it simply love, teh one that has an opposite: hate. On the other hand ( lol, another duality), True Love is what you felt as a baby or a small kid, that UNCONDITIONAL love of the mother. Most of the people , after those childhood moment, never meet True Love again. But if they will do, those people will be able to do anything. For real, because the Universe has its mysterious ways. That's the sense of 'love conquers all'
