With us, it is I talking and him being the king of yelling. I will say that I do yell but I know when to stop and he don't. I am the the queen of crying because he sometimes makes me feel like that I am at fault and he is not. So there for I do nothing but cry because he does not seem to want to calm down and treat me like equal and listen to my points of view. He seems to think that he is always right and when I try to say anything he will say whatever and then he always makes sure that he has the last word. It use to be different but everything changed when he allowed his brother to tell him that all guys should have the upper hand and wear the pants and that girls should obey. But that is the story here.

But my husband has the ability to get me to tell out of frustration. When we get in an argument he really knows how to push my buttons, and I actually think he likes it sometimes. I can really yell, but I am not violent, I don't throw or punch things or people or anything like that. I do tend to clean when I am angry though, but I guess that is a good thing.

In addition, my husband has PTSD and yelling at him could really throw him off the deep end, making matters 1,000 times worse. We rarely fight but, when we do, we both try to stick to the issue and not vent all of our frustrations at each other.

| | 4. Hatley (21753) | 3 months ago | hi lucia oh my yes I used to be the queen for sure, even to throwing something, but over the years I have mellowed out a lot. I was the yeller, the bawler, and my hubby the calmer downer who made me even more angry when he refused to blow his own lid. so he taught me to fight fair, and after a few years I began to just work things out, instead of yell, scream and throw things. much much better.
