No. Except for sometimes when you can...but even then, no.

We don't need to provide an assessment of a person, just look at the side physical appearance. Some time ago, I met a very pretty girl, friendly and looks smart. However, after I knew her more closely, I felt disappointed. Behavior that she showed when she was in office, was different, as in everyday life. Turns out she was a wild girl, and tend to be less able to understand the feelings of others.

Yes way back,and I do mean way back when I was in grade school these two girls in my class were always thought to be the very prettiest girls in school and so it went through high school. But along came another girl who looked to me to be a really nice and rather pretty girl. but one day I was in a bookstore when we were both seniors in high school. I watched her as she slipped a small book inside her sweater and pretty soon a magazine followed. she was a kleptomaniac and she always seemed so good. I was horrified and then when she went to leave the store, she got stopped and they found all the stuff she had tried to steal. I made sure that they did not think I was with her. I felt so disappointed as she looked like such a really neat person. suddenly she just did not look like the pretty and nice girl I had wanted to be friends with. I was one disappointed young teen.

I think we can't guess by just cover. Yes, if we are given a chance to see in it, we can still be wrong. I remember one of my experiences with a novel titled "five point someone" looking very strange from cover and the name too. After seeing its page, I ignored it but when I saw the last cover, I discovered that its a best seller one. Now I never prejudge just by covers or pages or width etc.

Hi Judith, this may sound odd, but the more handsome/beautiful a person is, the less likely I feel they will be nice, its like, if you are going to look so good on the outside, a person would not be bestowed with kindness and goodness on the inside, as well! I'm not saying that is always the case. That would be too much good fortune for one person. I guess the opposite may be true, if a person is homely, then my impression may be that person has an amazing personality to offset the physical. But I do try to give everyone a fair chance before making up my mind. I tend to be wrong more often than not about first impressions. A quick question, what is poundstretcher lotion and where can I get some if it keeps you looking like you did 10 years ago?

I can't think of anybody personally. But you look at some serial killers and they look creepy. Others look perfectly normal and you just wonder how somebody so evil can look like anybody else.

You shouldn't judge a book by its cover, or who your going to love by your lover. Just kidding. I wanted to add some Aerosmith lyrics in there. I have met people that were so ugly outwardly, but radiated a kind of glow because of the level of purity they had within. This radiance made them attractive. This is what's important, the inner beauty. I know it sounds corny, but everyone loses there looks eventually. All that is left in the end is a persons character and that can get better as one gets older. Virtuous qualities are timeless. When a person is attractive on the inside, everyone remembers them even after they have passed on.

Yes, there are people that I have found initially attractive, but once I got to know them I couldn't for the life of me figure out what I had found attractive about them in the first place. On the other hand, I have thought that people were not very attractive and then once I got to know them I thought they were HOT.

I know several people with a very dry sense of humor, so people often think they are being serious or mean or whatever, especially since they can tease and joke with a completely straight face. I have learned to look at their eyes, though, and I almost always can tell whether or not they are joking from their eyes.
