How to Plan a Child's Birthday Party?

hi getbrowser It has been years since my son was a child but it has always seemed to me that a party for little kids does not have to be supper expensive. Just a birthday cake and ice cream,plus the games little kids love to play, and some little
inexpensive gifts for all the participants to win perhaps at some little game. Maybe hire a friend who is a great singer to
teach the little ones some of the prevailing kid type songs like the Little Spider, again just keep it simple and not too long.

My boys always had fun parties! I would let them help me with making the invitations and they got to put them in the slot at the post office. We would plan their favorite games plus some time when people could do whatever they wanted.

Everyone loved the balloon stomp! I would blow up dozens of balloons before the party and at some point I would let them drop to the floor and let the children stomp on them till they burst. Clean up was easy because I had a bowl of cheap little prizes for everyone that helped pick up the pieces!

We played pin the tail on the donkey, broke pinatas (paper mache figures filled with candy) and one time the pinata would NOT break! I let the kids stomp on it, beat it with sticks, throw rocks at it and finally had to take a hammer to it!

We had relay races, too, with prizes at the end. And the water balloon fights were so much fun!

Be sure you have lots of fun games and be prepared for a lot of mess. I always asked that guests not bring gifts because I wanted my boys to look forward to seeing their friends, not getting presents. Have some cheap little toys for prizes if you like, kids love that.

Yeah... That's the problem. I'm not to good at it... Lol..

Organizing a birthday party is of my favorite events. With kids you have to know their favorites to guide you with the kind of motif for the party. For consistency based on the motif selected, design your invitation according to the kids favorite character or interest. Match it with the color of his/her dress or a costume. Make a guest lists and encourage guest to be in their costume or motif color of the event. Then worked on the type the types of food to serve during party and plan out the program. Make sure to involve everyone in the program/game. Prepare games for kids and adults and combined. Prepare giveaways too. The cake will also match the motif. Make your souvenir/thank you items in line with your motif. documentation of the whole event is very important. Camera and video must also be prepared. This plan is for those with budget and wants to make it extra special/extravagant.

For those who wants it simple but fun-- you can still go for the motif, list of food to prepare and more fun games and entertainment and photo/video documentation. You can do away with souvenirs and other extra gimmicks for the party.

Tomorrow is actually my son's third birthday party. But, this year for him it is going to be very low key. We are just having the family over and we've invited one friend but I doubt that they will show up. My son is absolutely crazy about trains, so I am going to make him a birthday cake with Thomas and Friends trains on the top of it and I am going to attempt to draw some railroad tracks on it as well.
My daughter's birthday last year was memorable for her for the simple fact that she got to have some friends to come to her party. This year for her, she's in first grade, I'm not sure what I am going to do. I'm thinking about having a party for her at their gym because she loves gymnastics so much and she is so good at it. Plus, I wouldn't have the mess to clean up.

For me, my kids are still more. They yet to go to school and they don't have any school friends now. Basically if we want a party held for them, the guest list will be on the parents friends or relative. So in that case we might get more focus on adults more than on the child.

But if happen the child is old enough to remember her birthday party, it is good to get a special big day celebration for them. I am looking forward to hold a grand party for my daughter once she goes to school. MAybe will have it in her school so she could celebrate her birthday with school friends. Then teachers might be a good helper for me.

Most of the peoples would plan their birthday party according to their
idea and convenience, so the party must has some important activity
including presenting the new dress to the birthday kids, giving or
ordering some special cakes for the birthday kids, present some thing
special to the kids, etc., So I am normally arranged the birthday party
and would make the invitation for the kid's friends and also arrange
the dinner to those who are the friends of the birthday kids, which would
give more happy to the birthday kids, in order to satisfy the mind of the
kids. So as a parents we have the responsibility on our kids birthday,
so we would supports them to have the great party.

Hello there. I've hosted many children's birthday or school parties and it was so much fun. I love, even, to decorate the cake or make all the food myself.

The birthday child is, of course, the guest of honor, so that is of itself "special." It helps when they get to write out the invitations, too, or help in planning the party.

Children love colorful balloons, various games, the special food and punch.

Another thing that sets the birthday child apart is when everyone sings Happy Birthday to them, and then he/she gets to open the gifts!

Lots of experience. Each child is an individual so that would enter into it first. the setting, the time, the games, which kids to invite. How long? Don't want it for very long or the kids get bored. Make them feel like what they want to be. Princess, superhero. Like that. Talk to them and get there feed back.

Hello getbrowser. As to planning a child's birthday party, in our family we usually invite our relatives either to have a nice dinner at home or in a nice restaurant. Recently we have two babies who have just had their one-year-old birthdays in two different nice local restaurants. We went there with a big birthday cake bought from a cake shop specializing in it.
