Many kinds of fish cannot live in a pond, but yes a pond is more natural for them and they will grow bigger and healthier in that environment. I like the fish pond we have in our city, but I also like well set up tanks.

Fish are much better off in their own natural habitats but I think goldfishes don't mind. They have accepted their fate that they were created to display their beauty. I have a couple of them in my aqarium and they seem to be enjoying a lot. They greet me everymorning ask for their breakfast. Nice lovely creatures.
enjoy!

I love having a big fish tank! But I won't have any more of them now that the kids are grown and I live alone. Watching the fish is so relaxing and entertaining! We have a Chinese buffet here in town and I love to stand there and watch the koi. Sometimes I stop in when I'm not going to buy a meal, just to see those beautiful creatures.

Hi jugsjugs, here in my place we can see fish reared in small indoor ponds in many Chinese temples. There are lots of lovely carps available in the big ponds at the nearby leisure park here as well. We could see visitors enjoy feeding the fish in the ponds with the breads they bring along. Once the fallen bread reaching the surface of the water nearly hundred of the carps strive to be the first to reach the bread. It’s really a animated competition scene to survive
When visiting some of the restaurants here we usually can see beautiful fish swimming relaxingly in the big rectangular tank or tanks available there. This is one of the way the restaurants here fond to decorate their environment. We can see clearly the colors, the shapes, as well as the elegant gestures the fish swimming in the crystal clear water. What’s more they decorate the tank with some rare stones of different shapes as well as the greenish aquatic plants
If we want to have fun feeding the fish, of course it’s nice for us to see fish in a pond. Definitely we can enjoy the sight of the appearance and movement of the fish clearly if seeing fish swimming in a tank. I think fish do like to live in pond than in tank for they can move freely in more spacious place. They have to fight for food themselves for sure.
Happy posting

At my college dorm, people would leave their goldfish in the water fountain when they move out. I guess it's more room for the goldfishes to move around in but they have to be outside in the rain and their might be predators. I don't know
Wish someone could ask the goldfish what they want.

I think that they are better to be in a pond, their natural habitat, however the scenery in a tank is also quite appealing... though there's more to be seen in nature! I think they are most likely more healthier in a pond, so while the scenery of a tank has it's appeal, I am going to go with a pond because like I said nature has more to offer, and the fish would be happier in a pond...

I would rather see a fish in a pond or it's natural habitat. In a bowl makes me sad and I wouldn't care for that. I like to see animals in their natural environment. Anything less is almost madning to me. Infact, in most situations it is maddening to me.

I prefer the fish in a pond. They look trapped in a tank. They seem to have more freedon and live naturally in their own surroundings.

I would rather see them in a pond than a tank. A pond is more ntaural and safer for them. I won't own fish anymore because every time we get fish, they die on us. We are definitely doing something wrong.

Hello jj. If there were such a pond in the house, I would like to see them in the pond. But I don't have one as I live in an apartment. Well, I have three tiny fish, but I am sorry to say that only one is still alive after a few days of having them. It is very difficult to raise fish in a small glass container.

I love fish tanks or ponds with fish in them. My brother had fish in a large tank and they were healthy and lasted for years. I love fish tanks with different color fish with large or small fish. Its so relaxing to stare at a fish tank or a pond. Its a form of relaxation that more people should do. It would help in bringing down high blood pressure.

it is lovely to look at gold fishes and other fish in an aquarium. it is a lot easier to watch them inside the aquarium rather than in ponds which is cumbersome for us. we seldom go to ponds much as i like to see fishes there. if u mean to ask if i prefer fishes to live inside aquariums or ponds, i will say that they should be freed into the ponds or seas where they are free to swim around. they are so limited in their movements inside the aquarium. just like birds, i feel that they should be freed from their cages, too.
