When talking to someone do you look straight on his face?

I'm weird about eye contact, really. I rarely look people in the face because at least at work, as a cashier, no one looks me in the eye. It's weird. But by not looking people in eye, it's not as.. official. I can't explain it. But sometimes I feel UNCOMFORTABLE if someone DOES look me in the eye.*shrugs*.

Well, it all depends i think?
If we're having a serious discussion or lovely dovey talk, I will definitey look into their eyes because it proposes my sincerity towards that person, If the conversation is a lax one, its perfectly not to look into the person eyes.

Well I always make sure that I do look into the eyes of the one I am talking to. It certainly show how serious I am with what I am saying. It is really annoying to talk to those who can't manage to look into whom they are talking to. You can't see whether they are sincere or not.

It is impolite to talk to a person with roving eyes. I would not deal business with people with that sort of character. A person of this nature is untrustworthy and it shows that he has hidden agenda and cunning. Since I am more on public relation and deal a lot with the public, I can certainly make out which person I can trust and which I don't. Body language and style of communication have a lot of bearing in a person. I was at a meeting the other day when out of the blue one of the director of the company say to me that I am a 'strong woman'. That makes think for a while why he said it. Then I realized that when I talk I look straight on to his eyes.

I usually look at the face and maintain eye contact with people I talk to. It is being polite doing that. It is showing the other person that you are listening to him. It shows that you are ready to respond to whatever he wants to impart. It is telling him that you are interested in the conversation.

Yes, I do.. especially he is my crush. Its already a big opportunity to talk to him upfront and up close.. Why I should i.. I will to his face straight..

If i am talking with friends and co-workers,i always like to stare on their faces and eyes.But never with a stranger.

There are really people who are too shy to look at us,even if we worked with them for years.
They seems aloof and distant,i guess it is their nature already,unless he got a crush on you(uhmm,kidding... )

No I'm shy I never look someone i the face unless they are good friends, or it is a serious situation.

I don't like it my husband can't look at me when talking to me also.
I like for someone when talking to me to look at my face and have eye contact.
But my husband seems to not be able to do that.
It aggrevates me so much.
If you get this answer to this I would like to know also lol.

Hey its a need to see peoples eye when we speak to them for two main reasons.
* It really express our feelings when you fail in words
* It tells to other that you speak only the truth
