Do you like making friends online as well as offline?

I have friends online but of course every interaction is online, but if they are in the same place with me that is the different story. I met my close friends by a yahoo group I joined in. The friendship became successful , she is now my best friend. I do make friends online, like in forum and I like to meet them online because I like to share myself on them and I want to keep in touch. And also we have the same interest, its so nice to meet people that you have the same doing. It is easier to make friends online but I do not usually share everything about me that easy, I have to make or feel at ease on them before anything else.

well yes is nice to get to talk to other people from the rest of the world but it takes away from in person social skills. I guess I like both but I miss the in personal touch.

I have quite a few online friends with whom I share common interests. Since I am living with my children and have no car or job sometimes this is the only connection to the outside world that I have.

I used to make friends online as well as offline. I don't talk to the friends I made anymore, though I guess I ranted and moaned more to them. I do know how to get in touch with them for the most part, but don't anymore. As for easier, yes it was easier to make friends online... but I guess I am not a social person. The friends my husband and I have aren't very social either.

it is no problem for me to make friends online,when we online, we can be make friends cover distance and language,we can be notice the different about life style and cultures,it is a different from offline.as many friendship were made depend on the profit,good luck and have a nice day!

I've been making friend through the internet for a long time and I really enjoy having friends that are in places that I may never visit and to have the opportunity to learn about their cultures. However, I also really like to make friends that I meet in the more conventional methods as well. These are the friends whom I depend on more for my own socialization. I've met a couple of the friends that I've made online in real life and that really seals the relationship. I love having new friends and I enjoy making them in both ways.

Hello jj. I think that it is easier to make friends online as it seems to me that everyone is much nicer to make friends with although it is not that difficult to make friends offline. In fact, I have many more online friends than offline friends.

I think it is an entirely different kind of friend we make online that off, although in some cases people are both. Family members can even be online friends :-)

Hi, Jugs! I prefer on line friends for the most part. I work very long hours, and I can't be a very good friend in person because of that. On line, though, we can get to communications whenever we can. My closest friend is a little more than 1,000 miles from here, so e-mail beats huge phone bills. We can rarely afford to visit in person, but I'd miss her terribly if we couldn't stay in touch just about every day!

Hey jugs! I have no problem making friends offline as well as online! In some cases though I have made some incredible online friends that I really wish I could meet up with! If they didn't live oceans or states apart it would be wonderful to meet up with them. Some of the friends I have made online I have made very personal bonds with and speak with them outside of mylot and I am so happy that I have been able to meet them and form such a close friendship with!

I love making friends online; it makes life so interesting because they come from all different parts of the world making it so much smaller! I love having friends online and off but in many ways I prefer online because we can communicate at a much deeper level sometimes and it is easier to jump on the computer than try to arrange to get together; speaking of which I would love to meet some of my friends from MyLot one day.

i haven't met any of my online friends,but yes i do find it easier online,coz i don't really go out much

I think I can make friends easily whether online or offline. I will have good friends made through online, especially since I have a blog of my own. I find some times it's good to have some virtual friends, as we tend to have more space to rant, rather than just towards our dear friends who might be so occupy with other stuff.

NO matter online or offline, if you cover him in your friends group, he's your friend then. Making friends online is not easier, but it makes us own more courage to get to new friends.
