I have shopped late at night on occasions and it's not always the case that it's not busy. That's why there are more places which stay open 24 hours because people can choose when they want to go food shopping.

Is this similar to going to wet market because my mother do that every morning. Unlike picka food, if I want it, it is always available in the street where i work adn live. I like to go shop for food during our afternoon break and during going home. I feel the need of something to take home to munch. I like to watch television munching food.

Hi jugs, if I have considerable time I usually would go for shopping on Friday. This is because most of the foods are on sale from Friday to Sunday, to attract customers. The hypermarket usually will be very crowded since Friday evening. To avoid lining up in the long queue in front of the paying counter. I usually would go to purchase food after having lunch
Other than it is lesser customers I still could treat it as a relaxing stroll after having meal. Moreover I could enjoy the free air con during the hot sunny afternoon. It’s so nice to have shops having 24 hour service in your place. Yeah, it’s quite convenient for we to do our shopping at any time. Here all the hypermarkets are opened from 9am to 11pm except one is opened until 1am in Saturday night. Most of the shops will be closed after 8pm

I prefer to go in the morning and with out my kids. My kids just tick me off in the stores... they don't pay any mind to where I am where I ask them to go and won't sit in a cart. I spend more time yelling and looking a fool than anything in the store. So if I go I go with the lil guy only but by that point when my girls are in school he's ready for a nap & I still haven't gotten to the store.
I also hate crowds, it seems when things are busy that people loose their manners and I am one to speak up about their lack thereof...

I like to shop when the store is almost empty too. I like to get in and get out without fighting a crowd also. I like to shop at night or before it gets daylight in the morning too.

There is an open vegetable market here. They have some time table on when they start business and when they close. They do not stay open late in the night. Besides most of the vegetable end by night. I prefer to shop at around 4-5pm.

See to it you don't go too late. If you go too late in the night you will get only the left-overs, unsold and unwanted items only. I generally order by phone and get home service.

I like to go shopping for food whenever I am able to go without the children. Sometimes this means that I go shopping for our food when the oldest is at school and sometimes this means that I go shopping for food when my husband is home from work. The problem lies in the fact that my new favorite grocery store is not open 24 hours a day. This place is great though because their prices are so much cheaper than the other grocery stores and the quality of the food, in my opinion, is much better than that of the other stores.

I don't mind shopping anytime of the day. I just find shopping, like doing my gorcery relaxing and a stress management too for me... i take my time despite many people around. It's okay to shop on a 24-hour stores but i think it's more expensive. but you're right shopping at night especially for the 24-hour stores will be more convenient and will not be stressful for shoppers like you.

I tend to go during the morning on a weekday. Its so much quieter than a weekend or evening out here. Most people work until about 4.30 here and then go do their shopping so I make sure I have done mine before then. I prefer the shop to be less crowded so I can browse at a leisurely pace and not feel rushed by so many people around me.

I have one day in a week where I go to grocery to buy food and other supplies for my family. Enough for us to consume for one week. It is usually weekends where kids are home and I have nothing so much to do.

Me too. The two stores that my daughter and I like to go to when we get alot of groceries is always busy. I can understand that late afternoon to early evening they would be but even late or early they are as well. And since I have this social anxiety it leaves my daughter shopping on her own or we have to come another time. Very inconvenient!

We don’t have 24 hour trading where I live but I am fortunate enough to be able to go any time during the day so I usually hit the shops after I’ve dropped my little one at school at ten to nine; it’s still quiet then and great for grocery shopping. We have late night trading once a week but that is way too busy for me!

I hate going shopping when there is a lot of people out whether it be for food or other stuff. I like to go when I can get in and out without waiting in a long line or having to push through crowds of people in the aisles. I will either go in the early morning like around nine or ten or I will go in the late evening around eight or nine when it seems to be a bit slower paced in the stores. I also like to go at times when my kids can stay with my husband just because I feel like I can get in and out quicker without them.

I like to go to Walmart early in the morning about 9:00 am. There are not many people there at that time of day most people are at work. You can get in and out and not have to wait very long in the checkout line.

well I tend to do that on the weekends, but then again is better to do it more often just to get freshest food and not have to carry all at once.
