Do you say Sorry or rather saying a Sorry makes you ashamed? |
|
Yesterday while in a shopping mall I watched an awkward incidence between a lady and a young man. Both the persons were picking things from the shelves in their cart, one after another and I was just behind them. Suddenly the lady at first made a wrong turn, probably she missed any item behind, hit the man below his knee with her cart's end. Though the hit was not so strong still I saw the man bend in pain for a moment but to my astonishment the lady had no effect and she not even say "SORRY" but rushes away from the scene. I and others behind me helped the young man and expressed our resentment.
Is this our social ethics and morality that saying a sorry makes us so ashamed?

To err is human. When u say sorry u feel very happy, it's like we have kept some big rock down from our shoulders, this is the feeling which i get when i say sorry to someone. However felling of guilty is much more better than feeling happy and enjoying. what do u say?
Thanks and regards, V. Prasanth Kumar http://sysusertips.blogspot.com

2. sinnedsejatnom (239) | 3 weeks ago | Saying is really part of me. I learned it when I was still a child. My parents taught me to always do this when something happened that offended another person or you've done something wrong to any person. I think, people must take away their pride so that the word "sorry" is easy to say. The important thing only for this is that it should be sincere. As much as possible, don't commit the same mistake again.

6. borhan (638) | 3 weeks ago | There is no harm in saying sorry. Rather it will depict your sense of ethics, your education. I personally never feel ashamed of telling sorry. Saying sorry is a daily part of our social bondages. Many a times saying this small word "sorry" helps me. Thank you.

7. gmatthews (159) | 3 weeks ago | It's human nature to make mistakes. It is not okay to just walk away though. I would have said something to the lady. That is just rude. She probably did not do it on purpose, but she still should have aplogized. She must be an interesting person to live with.

8. reeyan (411) | 3 weeks ago | Hi think_twice
I never feel ashamed to say sorry. Because it is social decency to say sorry. I even habituate to say sorry when I am not actually in wrong. In this way we can spread brotherliness among people.

9. sender621 (732) | 3 weeks ago | I think that saying sorry just comes easier to some than others. Nobody is proud to have to say that they are sorry. Saying you are sorry means you have wronged someone. Now you owe them an apology. Pride is not always an easy obstacle to overcome to admit to saying you are sorry. I've never felt ashamed to say I'm sorry, but I have been ashamed when I didn't admit to something when I was wrong.
