Suggestions needed, please!

Sending a card sometimes means the world sometimes to people. Sometimes just sending a gift card to her favorite retail store or to a restaurant makes a wonderful and affordable gift. Something little can mean a whole lot to someone. Sending anything is wonderful because they know you are thinking about them and sending something means you care for them.

You don't have to send something expensive or even something nice but just sending one little thing can make a friendship grow and be stronger.

Give her something that she like most. But remember money doesn't matter just make her happy!

make a video of yours saying him something good for her and may be sing for her if you can.
wrap that cd along with a beautiful card, a small sculpture and those must be sent to her with some beautiful flowers..

Do you have a desktop publishing software on your computer, like Print artist or Photo Deluxe...something like that. There are several good free programs you can get if you do not have one. I will suggestions at the end of this comment.

Personalized gifts are always endearing. I have sent cards I make with pictures of friends, sometimes memories of times past, pictures of myself and a friend, and it was received with grand appreciation. If you have a picture of the two of you sharing an experience you could use that as the cover of the card and write some personal words on how much she has meant to you through the years. The card could be printed and mailed...or you can email it. Because of the personalized message and picture your friend will keep this card forever as a testament to your close friendship.

I agree with the previous poster; for a low-cost gift for close friends, personalized are the best. Last Christmas I made personalized calendars for all of my close friends; not just with pictures of me and them, but with their friends and family members as well (Facebook and Myspace were great for that). I also buy a lot of gifts at a franchise called Things Remembered, they have a wide variety of gifts that can be engraved for a low cost.

Well this is what comes to my mind. Make her a card and buy a gift card for whereever she currently lives and put that in your homemade card. Really I feel that most people cherish something homemade more than an item you buy from the store. Also without knowing her likes and dislikes it is hard to say product wise what she would enjoy. However if she likes to bake a pan or something of that sort would be a great idea as well. Hope this helps and happy mylotting to you.

There is always some type of Silver jewelry like a necklace or bracelet that she can wear and think of you everyday.
But my very Best Friend in Ca. means everything to me. When She moved away, I found this little book that expressed in words and pictures what we were and so many of the things we did and shared. She treasures it and it reminds here of me and the years we knew and shared with each other.
I'm afraid that is all I can think of at this time. Big Hugss!!

Can you find something that she has a passion for, research it on the internet and send her a great article on the subject, or even a new book or web site. I quilt and am always interested in a new site or store, I just don't have the time to look for myself. I am sure your friend will appreciate anything that shows you spent time thinking of her. Time is often the most treasured gift we can give.
