What Attracts People to You? Your Personality or Looks?

Most people see me first but my personality would have to hold them because I am not a good looking person in any way shape or form.

I think its the personality and i believe that is what it counts after all. With the looks only you dont go further but having a good personality counts a lot.

I don't know what is there in me that is so attractive to others that it sometimes make me wonder. Maybe my friendly disposition and my talkative nature is my strongest point to make anyone be comfortable around me. First impression counts a lot and I am one that is not stingy in flashing my smile to anyone I meet for the first time. This free smile is something that is inviting and can easily magnetize a stranger. It comes automatic when I meet anybody and this has become my trademark which benefit my business a lot. I am no stranger when it comes to public relation as I can easily strike conversation with anyone and that person will end up having a strong impression of me.

At the risk of sounding extraordinarily conceited, I am going to have to say looks.
More specifically, my hair.
It is long and red and pretty thick.
I do have a good personality, but am pretty introverted most of the time, so my personality is not what people notice at first.

When I was younger I attracted people with my looks....boys will always be boys...they like pretty girls. It actually did NOT flatter me to be honest. I never wanted to be liked because of my physical features. Like you, I have a very good sense of humour. I even won in a comedy skit I wrote back in high school. I love making people laugh. I like being in a crowd. I hate seeing people looking sad and depressed. I always find a way to cheer them up. I always want to be liked for my personality, not my looks. Well I'm a mother of 2 girls now (15 and 12 yrs old) and I keep on telling them don't let boys like you because you have pretty faces...you have to be liked for your inner beauty. Beauty will fade away but good personality should last forever.

I am an unremarkable looking person, but I do have the type of personality that seems to attract soem people. I am never the most popular person in the group but can be outspoken and seems to appeal to some.

Definitely my personality over my looks. I make it a point not to emphasize my looks, because I don't want people to be attracted to me based only on what they see. I have never been one to be interested in outter beauty. I think that people put way too much emphasis on looks.

There seems to be something on me that attracts people.I guess its my unique personality.I am not pretty but i know people would love me for what i am.I am very friendly person too.

When I have first been attracted to someone, the way they look usually gets my attention first. After i get to truly know the person, their personality is the true test of whether or not the relationship continues. Looks may get them in the door but personality will keep them there.

I'll say both because alot of people now a days will look at u without even knowin nething bout nd will only associate u based on ur looks but even if you are an attractive person nd u have an ugly personality then most ppl aren't goin to be to fond of u
But for the people that's been around me but doesn't really know me and they see that I have a goofy nd outgoing personality then most likely it'll atract them nd then next thing u kno were callin each other friends
but my looks always attracts people 1st nd then they get to kno me nd not only lyke me for juss wat i look like but for who I am which is what really matters you shouldn't base your friends on how they look
and also I would have to say the way u dress attracts people..if u dress lyke a group of other people dress then evntually you find yourself in that group
