 Every time I go to read a discussion,I'm getting a blue flashing box telling me I'm a winner (yeah, right!) & the flashing is making me feel sick. So,PLEASE! whats the secret of getting rid of flashing advertisements (If you can't tell me that, can you tell me the best way to overcome nausea!!)

But we must also realize that Mylot is also earning from these banners they post and they have to do this to survive as well financially. I think with over 100k+ members and I think they would pay us hugely every month they have to source out some way to earn too to pay us.
So what I do is just ignore those banners and so far I have been used to having to see them from time to time. It does not affect me anymore and they seem to not affect me anymore than you do.

| jazzsue58 (1042) | 2 months ago |  When I first came here, I complained about it - that's how I learned what to do. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's a serious threat to health. It did go for a while - replaced by the possibly worse "Hey girls, d'ya wanna die of anorexia?!" type ad from some dieting company using (a decidedly starved-down) Victoria Beckham as their role model.
Could be why "make money" rather than "stay healthy" seems to top the boards here!
