Come on Sunny, you might not have heard about the furniture, but certainly you would have heard and tasted Tobelorone and of course most of India would have listned to ABBA. Now why must you tell all the people that we are war mongers.

Hi Sunny, well by now the food has all been described with Fjaril even providing photographs, even not knowing where they came from everyond has admitted to knowing Abba and the chocolate DAIM bars have all been eaten.

hi Fjaril - i may be strange in my thoughts but but i don't like the way Switzerland presents itself as a peaceful nation whereas its banking system is the root to all corruption around the world.
hi Ramesh - the chocolate may be available in some metropolitan cities but not everywhere. also i did mention knowing ABBA, but didn't know its country of origin. third - why do you think my personal views represent my country? anyway i have explained my views to Fjaril - perhaps you might agree.
and finally Hi Thea - did get a fair idea of the food also. may try them sometime....perhaps you could also include an auto manufacturer which is known to make sturdy trucks.....

Sunny, why expect fjaril to defend the Swiss banking system when he is from Sweden, the country was Sweden not Switzerland.

As for trucks I know not a whit about them but I do know about the Swiss banking system and I agree that it is corrupt and goes against the country's cries of neurtrality when it blatantly harboured/ harbours, an extensive amount of money stolen from the Jews in 40's and deposited by Nazi criminals. The banks continued to protect the privacy of the criminals and their families whilst blocking legitimate enquiries about these stolen assests, behind their code of secrecy. It is a shameful episode and one which went unchanllenged incase a change in law made the assets of other 'powerful' depositers put their secret assets at risk of investigation.

its because fjaril had asked about my comment about Switzerland. and the auto manufacturer is Volvo which makes very sturdy trucks and buses which are very popular.
glad to know that i am not alone with my views. thanks to recession, there is now pressure on Switzerland to disclose more that it had ever did. i am sure there are many more dark secrets to be revealed.

I think I feel a discussion about the Swiss banks sunny, but we may well be the only two who join in.

Thea, I have a habit of staying out of political situations I know nothing about, so forgive me if I do not grace a political discussion but I always feel I need all the facts and that is an extremely hard business to collect and know it for certain.

you are welcome fjaril..its a good thing to be informed...but sometimes some facts are hard to ignore (and stay neutral).
and yes thea..swiss bank does deserve a discussion. sometimes people fail to see a different perspective until they are told about it...some facts are hard to imagine...

Hi finlander, well I think Gerty already revealed your neighbouring Swedish area and your regualar smorgasobords. We have now all discovered that the chocolate which I was talking about was DAIM bars which are exactly the same thing as SKOR bars, and still unotainable here, though I did manage to get choclolate covered marzipan yesterday.
