You prefer female or male boss?

I rather have a man boss because, I have had women for bosses, and they are the worst thing coming and going, they think the own the world, and you can't tell them any thing, and they don't like to be wrong, about anything, and man you can sit down with him and talk to him, and he will understand your point of view.

I'm not bothered either way. I've worked with both and never had any great problem. I just talk to them the way I would to anyone else. If they offer constructive criticism or advice I take it on board and, if I think they're being harsh, I say so.

I really do not mind who the boss is. May it be male or female for as long as they are competent and they listen to reasons. I think female bosses ten to be insecure considering that most of them think that they have to prove always that they can do what men can do. But of course not all of them. There are those that are really great. Well, I have worked with both and have not encountered any problem so far.

Talking from my experience I like male bosses more. It could differ with different people and different cultures though.

I like male boss because they are more straight to the point. I find the females having more non sense in them.

But I did have both female and male bosses that don't fit in that generalization.

Yep that's true, a female boss is really hard to deal with. My boss has mood swings, very emotional to the point that we, subordinates always have to adjust and really find a good timing when approaching her. Our female boss goes hesterical everytime something goes wrong, even when the problem is really minute. And even worse she embarrasses employees in front of everyone when caught in a bad mood! When she comes in the office, the positive energy dies out and turns negative. That's my female boss.

I had a very bad experience with female boss. She's not the real boss, but my direct senior in my department. I was the newbie in that office, was a bad luck having her as my senior. Got a 'like and dislike' experience with her, everything I did was always wrong to her. I am so happy that my coming new boss is a man.

I prefer female boss. Of course I'm female and I know she can deal with us. She is also a good listener. Oh well, I am talking to my recent boss here who happens to be one of my professors when I was in college!

I think it depends on the boss's personality, regardless if it's a male or a female.

I have had 2 male bosses and 2 female bosses when I was employed for almost 12 years. The two are easy to deal with, the other 2 were not (1 male & 1 female). Now I'm just working freelance, I prefer not to have a boss.
