What is the Government of Your Country Doing to Improve the Financial Crisis?

hi,friend,fortunately we don't have any effect of financial crisis/recession in our country India.Even have effect of small on those who are working Multinational companies,as we have the system of joint family,,there are several people like,,father,brother,uncle..come into picture and set right the crisis.
In general to the country our RBI[Reserve bank of India took necessary steps to support industries in the way of decreasing interests rates..postponing the repayments of loans..further funding for sick or needy industries.

Actually i think, the truth is that, there is no real financial crisis, people who are on the position right now just publicized it, so they can steal money from the people. Then the real financial crisis came! In our country the world financial crisis is normal. People do not take that seriously anymore. You know why? Because since then, our country got it's freedom and have our own government, the officials abuse the power, and corruption become a culture. I don't know if they are doing something to survive the mess that has been a product of dark past. Hmm. Maybe? or NOT? cause just like what i said corruption in our place is a culture. actually the dark is still happening right now and it became much worst i think.

Well honestly i am not a fan of our government here in the Philippines, It does not bother me whatever they want to do as long as they keep and maintain Peace in our country. It is known our country is quite poor and as a Son of MY MOTHERLAND i am playing my part helping my not so blessed neighbors here in our farm, we have around 14 poor families living near our place and we always lend a hand in whatever way we can, of course we can not expect something from a poor government.

Th government in my country is spending money like mad, giving jobs to their friends and penalizing small business that might provide jobs.

I'm in the U.S. and I think our government is crooked and corrupt. They only care about the rich and nothing for the poor. They bail out their friends and save their jobs while poor go homeless and jobless. Obama wants people to go back to school. 2.5 years ago my son went to school and paid 125.00 per credit. Now that same school charges 250.00 per credit. But wait a minute, Obama wants up to go back to school but the schools have doubled their tuition fees. We are in economic hard times, like who can afford higher tuition costs? So this whole economy thing here in the U.S. is not getting any better, I think is some ways it's getting worse. I bet this holiday season the retailers are going to be screaming their heads off because no one is buying much of any thing. Sales will be worse than last year.

Hi getbrowser, Although I try to be positive, I am very disappointed with the government here in Canada. Sad to say however, there is no one on the horizon who appears that the public trusts to do a better job. These are times when I remember the story of the old lady who said that her favourite Bible verse was, "it came to past". LOL! It reminds me though, that things change eventually. Blessings.

I really don't know what our government is doing for our financial crisis. Many company's have closed if not closed they have lay off many employees, if not lay pff they have cut off on there benefits and compensation.

well in Philippines i dont know what is the government action in financial crisis, but as i watch in television everything is increase,so as overseas filipino workers were affected because we need to send big money rather than before.For me the Philippines is not much affected with financial crisis, the affected is the Filipino's who are working abroad because some of the countries they are working is much affected by the financial crisis like here in saudi arabia there is too much Filipino's working here and there's a lot of establishment are closing now because of financial crisis,Philippines were survived of financial crisis because of the huge remittance that are coming from filipino workers abroad, and our peso is increasing than dollar.
For me the practical steps in order to survive this crisis is do not spent your money to the things not important but save it because you never know whether you will still job or not when you you wake up.

We are trying to put as many people to work as we can, we have improvements around the house so instead of doing one big job which we could not afford we are breaking it into many small jobs that can be done as we can afford it. If every homeowner could do this, maybe even 4 or 5 hours of work plus costs of materials
could work into to your budget. Our contractors a willing to work many small jobs that are available now instead of waiting for a big one to come along. I also make sure to add a dollar or two to my grocery bill each time I shop to help the hungry. If all of us can do just this little bit we can make a big difference. Jobs are the most important things right now.

The Bank of England is responding the crisis by what they call "quantitive easing" which just means they are printing more and more paper money. I'm not sure if throwing paper at the problem will solve anything, but who knows? Anythings possible.
