what is the longest that you have ever had a dog for?  |

 i am barely 25 and the longest i have had my chihuahua for is a yr and a half!!!!!!!! i wish i could hav had him fo rlonger but god had other plans for him because he took him after a hit and run. i was sad for a while but i thought that maybe by getting another puppy that would help me get better. so after a while i got me a maltipoo that i still have now. she is 9 months now. i love her to death i have taught her many tricks for ex. jump, sit, speak, rollover, to go potty outside and many toehr things too.l i love her so much.i know that even though she makes me happy she will never be able to take the place of my chihuahua that has passes away. i always remember him with any little detail.
so how about it what is the longest that you have had your dog for.? do you know of anyone that has had a dog for a long time? what happened to your dog? do you still have hom or not?

My cousin had a dog that lived up to around 17 years. It died of old age.

Yes, 17 years of having the same dog is really a long time. There was a special burial ceremony when the dog passed. He was a darling:-)

I have another dog named Freckles but she is still a pup. She is only one & a half years old. You couldn't tell Julietta by her age though becuase she still acts like a puppy herself at times. I would be lost if anything happened to any of my pets thats why I always make sure they get plenty of exercise & that they get their shots every year. They really do become part of your famil.

Fluffy lived from the time I was in first grade until I was a Sophomore in college, so he was fourteen years old when he passed away peacefully in his little spot in our storage space. Right now we have two dogs at our house and we left behind three at my mother's house when we moved out. The ages of these dogs are 11 (Sara, at my mom's house), 10 (Michela, my first baby), 3 and 3 (Zoe and Eeyore at my mother's house) and 1 (Jasmine, my daughter's dog).

The1one1 (94) | 4 weeks ago | I had a dalmatian for 8 years, he died out of poisoning, here we have people who poison street dogs, to prevent someone getting attacked by one of them, and one of those idiots decided to throw a poisoned peace of meat in my yard, my dog ate the meat, and died a day later. I really was devistated by that, but i got over it ( that was 6 years ago )
Now i got a german sheepherd, i got him a year ago or so

i once was given a dalmatian it was my first pup i li=oved him dearly, but all the pups that the female dog had given birth too got the mange and they owner took them to the vet and she got back and told me that there was nothing that they could do for the pup and that they had to put them to sleep. i didn't even get to say goodbye..... sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont' even want to rememeber.
