Yesterday I went out for a celebration dinner with my man, it has been 10 years that we are together, we had a very nice evening out. I don't go out much anymore because I can hardly walk but even though I was in pain walking to the metro (I missed the bus) it was worth it, I had just a great time.
We went to this restaurant called Antico Martini,
The last time I was there was 32 years ago when I had celebrated our first year of marriage, now 32 years later I went back with my boyfriend to celebrate our 10 years together.
Have you ever gone to a summer place that you went with your husband and then after your divorce you went back with your new boyfriend or husband?

I've never been married but I've dated guys. So, yes, I've been to places with my ex that I've revisited with my current.
Congratulations on the 10 years :-) and I'm sorry to hear about the physical ailment that you have with the difficulty to walk. I hope you get better soon.

Actually I went to the Space Needle with my third husband and was so excited to experience the restaurant with him. Then afew years later I was there again and couldn't figure out why I felt so odd. I finally realized it was because I had never thought I would be back there and there I was with a different person!

we just chose the restaurant because we thought it would be a good one for a celebration, and we enjoyed our evening, it is too pricey for just any dinner out.

Can't say as I have.
But congratulations on your anniversary, and glad to know you had a good time. You deserve it.

Since my boyfriend moved here and this is where I lived with my first husband, we have gone lots of places that we had been together. He even went to work with some of the same people my first husband had worked with. Of course, I was not divorced, either, but widowed. Some people said Bob had a lot of guts to work where Larry had worked, because Larry was so well liked.

Happy Belated anniversary! Here's to more happy years together!I will never marry. I have never been to a place twice ,once with one guy and then again with another.I don't think I could do it unless it was my favorite restaurant Uno's. I could visit it with my worse enemy and have a good time.

I just make new memories the memory with my husband was too long ago, 32 years before anyway, so I really don't remember much about it.

Congrats on the 10 years and sorry about your disability. I havent gone anywhere with a bf but that is because I have a husband and we are still going strong. I wonder what it would be like to do that thou. If some would get memories that could make it not such a good time. Glad yours was a good time.

the past is the past for me, I had not been to that restaurant in 32 years, so it meant nothing to me, that I went 32 years before.

Well, I am still with husband number one and plan on being for life. We will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and 24 years of being together in March. We do occasionally go the place we had our first date at. We spent our first wedding anniversary at the emergency room because my husband had an alergic reactin to some medication so I hope we don't ever repeat that again. My husband used to take all of his dates to the same places including me when we first met, but I told him I didn't really appreciate that very much.

Honestly never been to me yet....I hope it won't happen to me with another someone but to my only one recently. We got married from our province and we are living right now in the city. We miss the place where we were before and it's been seven years gone. I hope during our 10th year it would be happening in own place where we were before...cheers!

congratulations on your 10 years relationship... it is nice that you are able to celebrate it with the person that you love... i had only been with my hubby for almost 4 years and we never really celebrate our anniversary... now that i read your post, i think i will persuade him to celebrate it this year... take care and have a nice day...

I have only been married one time but dated a few guys beforehand. I went to several places with the ex boyfriend's. I have taken my husband to some of those places too and one of them is our favorite place for both of us to eat.

Can't say that I have ever had that experience. After so many years though it isn't as if any of the emotions connected to the place would still be there.
