Can you turn off your cell phone for a day?

sounds like a plan. I would like to turn mine off too so my parents would you know leave me alone with my friends or my girl. they call a lot and it gets annoying but what your saying sounds like a perfect day of peace and quiet.

Well actually I have very few people that seem to call me much anymore so having a Cell phone is not really a Big issue. I do use mine a lot for Texting and the occassional call from someone, so having a phone around to me is a necessity. I do occassionally on my days off, and in the evening leave my phone in my purse, and forget to turn up the volume so I guess this would be the same as turning it off as then I cannot hear it as well.

i've been there and done that before, and it felt great! just for a day without any buzzing cell noises lol, and i did that too with the internet. i LOVE to spend a day without the internet sometimes, no laptop no net, just hang around with my family and watch tv together, or dinner.

it is frustrating sometimes..and we should really take a day off to rest our mind and soul. Because if we continue it, as the affects of its addictive effects lol we'll doomed! we'll get stressed! and can't think well..

so yes, we better stop for a day!=D lol i'm complaining here

For people who receive important call or text messages a lot, they really need to turn on their phones 24/7. But for me who seldom receives 1 phone call and more than 5 messages a day, I could just turn off my cellphone in a day, even for a week.

yes, i don't mind switching off my mobile for a day..
i agree even sometime i feel the same way, i do especially in night.. i started habit of turn off my mobile when i go for sleep, sms or phone really makes me irritate and sleep less, so to avoid that situation, i switch off at night, plus i read that mobile radiation are very bad for our health, i gives problem to bone weakness and many other, its good from health point of view also..

Yes, I can do that and I always do that. If I don't want to be disturb, I would tend to turn off my cellphone for a day. It's a nice feeling to work quietly here on my PC and concentrate on it more. Sometimes, if I am so tired and want to sleep the whole day, I would also turn off my cellphone and would have a nice sleep.

I don't switch on my phone for the whole weekend, so that makes two days. I don't care who will look for me, I'm closed. lol

i don't think so.i think i can't do that.cell phone just like mobile info for me. i think i can't live without it..if i want or need some rest, i just silent my phone.

Being a busy life schedule it is really too tough to switch
off the cellphones and also I am going to lose my good communication
with business peoples, and the result would be loss of business. As
you have told me that you need to have the full relax and also would
like to want to be away from the outside communication, may be that's
true, you have need some times to be relax in order to have the good
and enjoyment life with rechargeable power. I am wishing you best of
luck to have the good relax after you have switched off the cellphones.

I do hope to do that. Unfortunately I really need to be connected all the time considering that there are things to do and if ever would not be able to, I would miss a lot of opportunities. Perhaps later on, I will do so and try to disconnect myself from the world and give myself a break.
