What media player are you using?  

I like Real Player the best. It works great for me, and its free, which is very important.Although I don't like their newest upgrade, so I kept the last one and haven't upgraded even though they bug me a lot to do so.

I have VLC, Windows Media Classic, of course, then I also have DivX player. It all depends on what type of media file I'm playing. Sometimes one software is better than the other.

Classic Media Player, I have heard of it but never used it. I use VLC and find it great, it seems to play anything you throw at it and its easy to use. I might check out Classic Media Player and see what it all about as I know lots of people that use it and swear by it.

MPC.

Light, classic and simple look and interface, a decent range of options and possibilities, can play files with soft subs without any problem, it's adaptable when it comes to codec and splitter usage. What's not to like about it?

I think that it's lacking a nice playlist like say... Winamp's, but otherwise. I'm just plain and simply not using clunky WMP just because of that feature for sure, plus that or any other player out there is just too flashy for its own good. I want a player to see video or watch music, not to see some fancy show light or a pretty GUI skin.

i have VLC,MPC,FLV,DivX, Cyberlink and windows media player, but what is media player classic?

I use winamp for audio and media player classic for videos. Sometimes MPC doesn't support some videos, so I go for VLC. Winamp works best for audio atleast for me because its fast and doesn't take long for opening...

My favorite is vlc, it can play files that some of my media players can't but i still have miro, quicktime and Itunes installed in my mac just in case but so far, I'm yet to encounter codec error or missing plug ins everytime I play some multimedia files.

i use winamp player. its easy to use pus there's a lot of skins to use.

I use VLC media player and GOM player. The latter runs in lesser memory but I usually use the former because I've grown more comfortable with it. I hate Windows Media Player

I use Windows Media Player and VLC. Sometimes I have seen some files do not play in media player and ends up with showing some error. Though if I try them in VLC they run smoothly. I like the VLC skins and I audio effects configurations in Media player.
