Do you have a best friend?

I have to say that my mother is a great friend... but I'm not sure she's my best. I love her soooo much... but there are details from my personal life that I choose not to tell her! Otherwise she's a great friend. But I have two friends that I consider 'best friends' I feel bad using that term because neither one of them is better than the other. One is my best friend from high school. We NEVER fight, ever, she's amazing and always understands me and I can talk to her about everything. My other best friend is from college... we have similar past experiences and future lifestyles and that's what keeps us so close. She's amazing and I love her so much. Both of them are just fabulous! Thank goodness for best friends!

i had a best friend since senior high school until we are in the same degree in college. but before he married, he is always want far away from me, as a moslem,off course i did not want to break the friendship and always "let me hurt as long as him is happy". but after he married, he act like iam not his best friends anymore. so i never think him, never want to add him in my list fb or anyone or wanna to discuss about him. iam hurt by his wife said when i had meet them(before they married) and the hurt is still remain in my heart.

hi nooveggies hatley here mymom has been dead for years but she was my best friend then.now my best friend is Nelda who used to live in the same apartment complex we lived in at that time.our sons had already become close friends, so we met in the washroom and would chat, and by and by we became very close. we both have sons who are computer nerds, we both are diabetics and we even have November birthdays so we have an awful lot in common. she is nine years younger than i am so that makes her 74 to my 83. we would and do do anything for each other,she is my best friend in all ways.

Beside my mother, my boyfriend is my best friend. He is exactly like what you've described. I always can turn to him no matter what happens. I can share every feeling with him. We won't turn down each other. Even we fight sometimes, we'll solve the problems together. He is my real best friend.

i have 3 best friends actually!!! my first and foremost is my girlfriend!! with out her i don't know what i would do with myself!!! she is true is hero!!! just like 3 days ago she saved a little girl from getting ran over!!!! she has saved so many lives and she is not a fireman or a police or a soldier!!!! i am so lucky to have a woman so heroic and at the same time compassionate!!! she is my lover, best friend, confidant but above all she is my soulmate!!! i love her to death!!!

my other 2 best friends have been there through thick and thin no matter what the consequences. i love them both the same!!! they help me with everything and all my problems. they are good at giving me advice and a shoulder to cry one when needed.

I have best friend in my life. He is with me from my college. Now he is doing job very far away. I always keep contact with him and share everything with him. Always miss him.

well i thought i never would have a best frienf till i met a guy named samuel wen i was around 14 years old...n believe me guys,my life changed totally after that..earlier i was a very shy and confined type of guy but he taught me live life to its fullest..we both spent some splendid time together...n then i got to know what true friendship is...now at present we both r in different cities but hope our friendship will live forever...

BESTFRIENDS are amazing. can a person actrally live life with out a best friend?! my best friends name is blakley...i love everything about this girl...all thought we are COMPLETE OPPOSITTS we atract like magnets makeing a tighter bond then a fat guy in spandex. she loves country and hunting fishing mud guy harvey tee shirt and boots. she has the name on the back of her belt and she likes chevy and gators football team...BUT i am a city girl,i like rap music tight clothes and matching shoes too every outfit i like to dance and party hard i like suspence and scary movies...we both adjust to each outhers life style and have fun with it because its something new...we never lie too each outher and tell each outher EVERYTHING no joke! when some one is talking bad about me, she would be first to jump on the case and argue for the best in me.she gives me wonderfull advise and if i ever needed some where to go besides home i know i would have a place with her i love this girl.if we havent talk saw each outher or texted in over a hour. YOU KNOW SOMETHINGS wrong lol!

I had a best friend for a long time and she started doing some stuff that I didn't approve of and I told her so. I didn't want people to think just because I was her best friend that I was doing it too. When I told her how I felt she didn't like it and she stopped coming over quite as often. Then we just kinda lost our friendship. I saw her about 4 years ago and she was nice and we went to dinner and she said she was going to start calling and coming over again and she never did. When I had my son she called up to the hospital and told me she was going to come see us. My son is 3 years old and I still haven't seen her since that call.

So I met a new friend several years ago and we have become best friends. We tell each other everything and I know she's got my back and I've got hers. If she needs anything at anytime of the day or night she knows I'm here and I know she is there for me. We go everywhere together and we get our kids together to play all the time. She's a really great best friend and I'm glad that I met her.

I have a few people in my life who I consider "best friends" -- that is, in my definition, pretty much exactly what you said. Someone you can share anything with that you choose to, without fear of their reaction or judgement.

My best friends and I never fight with each other, we talk things over and are comfortable with each other. We don't have to agree on every thing, but we do have the same basic attitudes toward life that bond us.
