I just wanted to say that i know that there are a bunch of people that have responded to my discussions and I just wanted to let them know that I really am trying to get caught up on all of them...I just found out a week ago that you can set it up to where you get email notifications so I went ahead and clicked to receive them and it really has helped but I know that I still have a bunch that I need to respond back to so please don't be too mad....Thanks!
Yes Yes I realize that I shouldn't start this because it will just be more that I will have to respond to but I have had a few people mention that I am terrible at responding back and I just want everyone to know that I do try I have just gotten behind and I do appreciate all your response but there is only so much time I have to read and response at one...Thanks again!!

I totally understand. I have the same problem. Just not enough hours in the day to respond to many discussions and responses. I sure try real hard but it finally gets to the point that I can't get caught up and delete the much older discussions I have sitting in my mailbox. I have over 430 emails of which most of them are from myLot friends and the discussions they started.

Yes we definitely need more hours LOL....what I have started doing until i can get caught up on some more of my discussions is to write down my ideas for other discussions and then when I get caught up a bit more I will go ahead and start a new one. I will keep the notification in my mailboxes as well, although I just found out like last week that you can get the notifications LOL thanks for your reposnse carolbee

I feel pretty much the same way as the other responses. Everyone gets behind from time to time. As much as we would like to stay on here we still have other things to do as well. You will get caught up real soon Im sure of it. Have a good weekend and keep smiling.

I have most of my free time in the early part of the day when my kids are in school and then at night after my kids head off to bed and what i have been trying to do is get one discussion caught up as much as I can within a day. Thanks for your response rosepedal have a great week as well.

I hope that all is going well with you. Are you ready for the big Thanksgiving holiday? Im ready to eat. I told hubby last night that I wished it was here already. I never can get enough of that turkey, so Im fixing one for us at our house to eat the next day...Keep smiling.

That happens to all of us from time to time. Please don't feel bad or disappointed in yourself. As a matter of fact, there are some people who don't take the time to respond to any of the responses in their discussions. So, at least you are putting up the efforts. Those who have mentioned it should at least pay attention and notice that.
I hope you will have time to take care of your family first, that is the main thing in life. By the way, I really like your avatar! Cute! I'm a frog-lover too! :)

I didn't think anything of it until I got a few messages from other members asking when I was going to respond back to my discussions and I just felt bad for the people that had taken their time to respond to my discussions and I just wanted to let everyone know I was thankful for their responses and I am trying to respond as soon as I can.
Thanks I am a huge fan of frogs especially red eye tree frogs but i also like turtles so I like your avatar as well...thanks for your response kykidd

I only get notifications for new discussions. And can you tell, I'm behind responding? Busy work week...
We all do the best we can, but you just can't keep up with everything and have a life too. No problemo...

I had a few different members pretty much ask me why I haven't responded to their responses yet and I couldn't help but think if these three members are asking why I am behind who else is upset that I haven't yet and I just don't want any long time members to get upset with me about it but I now see that it isn't that big of a deal LOL Thanks for your response dawnald.

I think finding a system that works for you and staying with it will definitely help you in the long run. That is sometimes hard to do but in the long run it should work very well for you. Repetition isn't always fun but, again, the system that works will make it much better for you.

I agree that finding a system will definitely make it easier. lately I have been opening two different tabs that way I can keep one open for my discussions and the other one is open for the new responses the friends and other members respond too. I like doing it this way because then I can go back and forth and not get too burned out on either tab. Thanks for your response celticeagle.

I am actually finding myself in the same boat that you are in with a lot of discussions that I need to respond to. I typically do very well over the weekend, but this weekend has been an exception and I've got a discussion that I need to respond to that I started a couple of days ago.
I for one am not upset that it takes time for people to respond back to you after you've taken part in their discussions because I know that sometimes life does get in the way of your best laid plans.

It doesn't bother me too much either when someone doesn't get back to my response right away because I know that I am behind as well. I try to kick out most of mylottting in the early part of the day and later at night when my kids are in school or in bed and yes also on the weekends there is just more of a chance for me to concentrate and get more typing done. Don't worry about it. We all get behind from time to time in replying to people here. Some people do seem to be able to answer everyone back right away and admire them for that, but I guess the point is, just to respond back when you can. I'm way behind myself

I would not be too concerned because you are not alone. I will be in the a similar situation after this weekend because my daughter is having a birthday sleep over with her friends Saturday and on Sunday we are hosting a family birthday party for her so I would imagine that I won’t be going any where near MyLot for the next few days so I am bound to get very behind. I avoided starting discussions this week for that reason. I will catch up when I can and people are going to understand; it happens to all of us every now and again because life is busy, what can you do?

Thanks paula, I try not to start too many discussions because I worry about getting behind but I also like starting new discussions and there are even cetain times when there are questions I need help on so I start a discussion here hoping to get some help. Thanks for your response paula

LOL...there are times when I get stuck on just one discussion as well. There are times especially when there are ones with a ton of discussions and I will get reading all the responses and then before I know it I spent an hour or two on reading one discussion, it gets nuts LOL Thanks for your response bounce
