Or beyond that? Some may not like to live till that old ages. I think if one is having good health and good family he/she can aspire for a long life.

Having lived half a century and a little more, I feel I have tasted, seen, heard, smelt and felt about almost everything which I need to, in this lifetime. But I also cannot deny that many lifetimes are needed to learn about the world and the universe. I would like to come back in a new life with youthful vigor to experience new adventures, maybe in a different place and a different form. If God wants me to be human I would very much like that but if he denies me that, I would like to be a household pet, like a dog, not a cat. I would like to be a dog, because they are ever so faithful, loving and loyal to their masters. Animals have Sixth Sense, and are able to detect what the human eye and ear cannot fathom. As a dog, I would be able to go beyond the physical world and enter into the world of spirits, as I heard that dogs can sense spirits. I hope I don't sound too far fetched but this is what I feel at the moment.

hahaha, shobha, I like your thoughts about rebirth. I have still fancier ideas about it. I think all humans will be born again as humans. We will be able to choose our parents. In fact you will be able to choose your partner too in your next birth. This may sound height of absurd to many, hahahaha. I have to choose my soul for my next birth before I leave this body. I have to prepare a list from which I can choose, . Others, please bear with me if you find this as a big crap.

Vijayanth, I don't mind returning as an animal spirit. Sometimes animals are more respected than humans. They do what that particular animal should do , nothing more, nothing less. But humans are capable of betraying trust placed on them, they can be unscrupulous, wicked, etc...So can you see why I wouldn't mind returning as a dog? Anyway, I'm glad you had a few laughs

I don't want to stop at 100. I want to live for eternity. There are so many exciting things to learn and to to and to experience. Also, there are so many different people to meet and get to know.

Thank you! What is behind us is nothing in comparison to what is ahead. Let's enjoy the ride together! 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (New International Version) 9However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"[a]— 10but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. Footnotes: 1. 1 Corinthians 2:9 Isaiah 64:4

No, I definitely don't want to live to be that age. 100 years old is a little too old for me. It's not something that I am aiming for. If I can live to be 80, that's fine. I'll be happy with that.

Well, I would like to live past 80. I definitely hope that I can live to be in my 80's, but I'm not sure I want to live to be 90.

I wouldn't mind living to 100 if I could still take care of myself and not be a burden to anyone. If my mind was still intact and I could still get around and enjoy life, then sure I would love to live to 100. Especially to be able to see how my daughters are at age 75 and 78 would be something else.

as much as I would like to live until 100 or more,I have some apprehensions.I would like to live a little over 100 if my loved ones are still alive.I would like to live a little over 100 if I am still strong and healthy enough to do things I want.I would like to live over 100 if I still have business that I can generate income from.

yes, coco, that is very important. I wish the same. If our loved ones are not alive, then there is no point in living long. thanks for responding.

Hi Vijayanths, that thought is scary. There is tremendous shortage of jobs, and the government will run short of funds to support the elderly. If everybody starts living beyond a specific average age, governments will have to do something about it, like if you are above 90, you have no choice but to bid good bye, and there you go to a gas chamber! Well, frankly, no. I would like to live only as long as my health is alright, and I am not dependent on anybody, including the government, and I dont become a burden on anybody. Within that age, I would like all my wishes fulfilled. :) That would be a good life. :)

It is not easy to live up to 100 years, vandana. You are so good to think that every one is going to live up to 100 years. No, you alone are going to live that long when we all are gone, hehehe. Ok, your dad will be there for you.

Hi vijayanths, I would love to live to be 100 years old as long as I didn't outlive my children and if I could remain in good health. I have known a few people who have done that and I know of a gentleman, a retired medical doctor, who still lives alone and drives his car at the age of 102. I don't know if he has any children. Blessings.
