Hi Limcy,
Even we use Act II at home. Its so easy to make and the flavours are good too and its not expensive. The 10rupee pack gives you enough popcorn for the evening and the same would cost your double or more at the movieplex.

I do not like the microwaved ones, they tend to taste plastic to me. I would prefer the stove anyday and also with some melted butter on *yummy*

Since I don’t have a microwave, the stove-top method is the only one for me. I use the pressure cooker with the weight off it .

We always use the microwave as it's faster . My dad occasionally uses the hot air popper but not very often

I'm not sure if you can buy stove top popcorn over in the UK, i've enver seen it anyway, though i ahve seen it numerous times in American movies etc. I usually just go for the microwave stuff, it's quite quick and simple, plus utilises a kitchen appliance i already have rather than buying a specific one.

I used to have a hot air corn popper and I loved it. I have no idea where it went either. I have made popcorn on the stove but it can be such a pain to do it that way. So my vote goes for the microwave popcorn.

I usually buy the microwave popcorn. This is fast and easy so if the kids decide that they want to make popcorn; they can just throw it in and have popcorn in a couple of minutes. I do not have to worry about burned pans or a smoky house. They know just how long to cook it and there is never any problems. There is just the right amount in a bag too, so none of it goes to waste.

The food at theaters is too expensive, it's no surprise that movie theaters make more of their money on concessions than on the movie. If I get anything, it's popcorn and soda. I'm really hungry. Most of the time I eat something beforehand or bring a candy bar in.

I like the hot air popper because I can go in another room and when I don't hear it anymore, it's done. Also I can make it without oil and put only as much butter as I want. Stove top I used to have to put oil and then butter later, twice the fat. Take care

David loves his microwave popcorn whereas I prefer hot air drizzled with melted butter...or stove top. Yes, it is rather noisy...but it reminds me of the way my mother and I made it...and it takes me down memory lane. Even more so now that she has passed on.
