Do you listen music in your car when you're not alone?

Hi there, i listen to music when i drive, i put the volume hight, but when i'm not alone in my car i put the volume down, near 0 and often i turn off the radio or cd player. I think that if you're with another person you've to turn off music beacause it means taht you want to talk with this persons also if there is silence. And you? do you turn off your radio in your car when you're in with another person? Thank you for your responses.

I listen to it loud with someone and when I am by myself as well.Do you sing along with the songs?And do people look at you funny?

I rarely have company in my car but when I do I turn the radio very low or off so that we can talk without distractions. When my sons visit they like the radio on and will talk over it, I turn it down but they usually turn it back up and continue to talk! With my mom and sister when they visit I usually turn it off because they talk very softly and it's difficult to hear them even when I ask them to speak up!

I never turn the radio or CD on in my car as even on a long trip, I want my eyes and ears completely on the road and traffic. There are so many poor drivers on the streets and highways that usually I find it necessary to drive for myself and them too.
