This year my wife and I re many miles away from oru families. The closest being a two hour flight away, so just for a change, I promised I'd cook Christmas dinner this year. Wish me luck Zelmark, and a very Happy Christmas to you.

Well, I have buying when the lines are long and people seem to flood the whole place and that people seem to run from here and there.

I won't be cooking whoo hoo.. that's because the extended family has a large gathering and usually we order buffet food in.
buko pandan sounds good! Pandan is so fragrant.

my wife plans are lasagna, and home made pizza. she plans to buy small crust so we can make our own. her mom and sister will be here with us. she will be amking morcon too that is one of my favorite. i dont know what else is her plan but i guess that would be it. we started a bazaar and i know we are busy so that meal would be enough. of course with fruit salad as well. i heard also she will be making embotido for give aways.

hello...yes, christmas is coming so fast. well, we are planning to have spaghetti too. ham, buko salad, "kare-kare" , a filipino favorite of beef with peanut butter, "humba", another filipino dish pork with soy sauce.
these foods make me hungry! hahahha..

We are going to visit a German friend of ours on Christmas eve, and we are going to bring dinner. We are going to bring schnitzel, red cabbage, and a potato dish that my husband sumbled upon by accident, when he was trying to make German potato salad. LOL It did not turn out the way we hoped, but our friend liked it so much, that he wants us to bring it again.

I'm not quite sure of what I'm preparing for this holiday dinner as of yet.
I'm thinking of turkey wings mac n cheese stuffing probably a brisket and probably fry some chicken make some cabbage, broccoli, my son ask for me to make a banana pudding, bake a couple of cakes brownies cookies and I think that just might be it. That seems like a lot I know but I enjoy cooking especially when it comes to baking my little princess like to help and we have fun when we are in the kitchen
