No man Is really born to be rich, each of us has all the means and opportunity to explore the world, use its wealth and become successful like others. We have a fair fight, we only need to work hard for blessings to come. Poverty is a blessing still because it will show you a lesson to strive harder for a change.

Very well said denver. Poverty if look into its right perspective makes someone who live in poverty work harder and serve as an inspiration to strive more and achieve success. You can only taste the sweetness of the success if you work hard on it. Like you're climbing the highest mountain and when you're on top you can breath and shout and embrace success. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

Well I guess it depends on what your situation is. Sometimes poverty drives other people to do something about their lives and eventually they are able to go beyond their situation and become a much better persons in life. But for those that stays there for too long it may be a curse for them already. Staying there for too long would just be a curse already. So for me poverty can be used as a challenge us to become a better person and to go beyond where they stand then it will be a blessing for him since he has learned a valuable lesson in life because of what poverty has brought him. But for those persons that will not do anything to improve themselves then it will become a lifelong curse for their life and will never be a blessing.

I really have two views on this issue. First, we all have the ability to change our lives with hard work and determination. We also have the ability to decide how we spend our money. With hard work and proper money management, people have the ability to work their way out of poverty and become financially stable and financially successful. Proper planning and financial discipline are two of the key factors that make it possible for a person to work their way out of poverty, or a bad financial situation.
Secondly, on a little different note, it is often really hard for a person to get out of a bad financial situation, especially if the person gets behind on things like mortgage or credit card payments. Depending of the severity of the situation, it may take years for a person to recover from a financial disaster, even if the credit card companies or mortgage companies are willing to work out some sort of payment plan for the customer. If a person is born poor, it is usually really hard for that person to get out of poverty and become financially stable or financially independent.
Poverty in general is a curse. However, it is important to realize that poverty can have many causes. There are certain parts of the country where poverty is more prevalent than other areas because the average income in that area may be lower than the income in other areas. Areas where the majority of the jobs are low-paying jobs are more likely to have higher poverty levels. A person being in poverty may also be the result of bad financial situations they have made in their lives, or may be the result of circumstances beyond their control, such as loss of a job or medical problems. Lack of education could also be a reason for poverty. If a person doesn't have the right education, it is often hard for them to find a good-paying job, so they will likely end up living below or near the poverty level.
There will always be poverty in the world. No matter what the cause, there is usually hope for someone who is living in poverty to get themselves into a better financial situation with hard work, better education, and the right financial plan. There are, however, some people who will die in poverty because the area in which they live does not offer the opportunities for people to better themselves.

Yeah, man can have the power to end poverty in their life. As they said, it's not a sin to be born with poverty but it's a sin to remain on poverty. We can always make our life better. It's our choice, we just need to work harder and have faith in God. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

There are many righteous people in the bible and even in life today who are wealthy. If a poor man begins to steal because of lack and wants, and it has become his habit and lifestyle then, poverty becomes a curse for him. But if he begins to work like selling bottled water, earning little but with peace of mind, poverty cannot be a curse for him and I don't think God would let him to be like that everytime. My uncle was a former shoe shine boy but now living in the US with an abundant life. I think poor people in our society is a test of faith for those who have more than enough and even us in terms of compassion and lending a helping hand for them. There are many "from rags to riches stories" about people wherein they became prosperous and successful starting from poverty. My relatives are just some of them.

Hi care!
I am not much aware about the religious belief about poverty. On a practical note I can say that poverty is not less than a curse. In this materialistic world, one cannot survive without money and those who are poor have everything but money. Poor people trying doing all kinds of things to survive in this world, either legitimate or illegitimate, lawful or unlawful. If any society has more percentage of poor people, it will progress slowly.
