How long ago did you started on internet?

hi there, i started to use internet in 2002 when my sister bought a new pc with a modem inside, before i had a 386 with windows 3.1 installed on. When i started to use internet my line was only 56K, i bought the ADSL modem in 2006, when i bought another pc for use programs for peer to peer. But internet was invented a lot of years before the 2002. And you? how long ago did you started to use internet? Thank you for your responses :)

I started in 1979. My first computer was hand-built from a kit. In those days internet access cost $300 a minute and the baud rate was 110, meaning it took about 3 minutes for a page to load. It was awful yet it was wonderful. Do you know what I mean?

I've been using it since 1990 something. When it became a thing that pretty well all schools had. I got internet at home in about 2000 or 2001. And even then I mostly only used it to lurk around a forum. It wasn't till around 2002 or 2003 that I got "high speed" and found p2p and was exposed to tv shows from other countries.

I remember back in 1997 my then-husband introduced me to the internet. I looked up "guitar lessons" and found a wonderful guitar forum where I could discuss music and techniques with a wonderful bunch of guys! Two years later they found out I wasn't a guy but at least they took me seriously. 
We had a dial-up connection but there wasn't that much on the internet then so it wasn't slow and most people had the same connection. What a wonder it was when they came out with high speed, videos and music downloads!! At last I could hear what my friends were playing!

I'd say about 1994 or 1995. And my modem was a big, fast 28,800. :-)

I started in about 2000 or so. I may have been on at school before but that's when I remember getting it online. I had a really bad dial up connection that kept disconnecting and made using the Internet a chore. Thankfully, I traded up pretty quickly. Its hard to believe I've been on the net for these many years sometimes.

I think I started in 1997. Got my first free web site with the old Geocities before Yahoo! ever got its hands on it and messed it up. Much of my secular work is done on or via the Internet. Have a number of email accounts for various reasons, conduct I think a half dozen forums, and other stuff. I like the fact that I can get news and weather when I want or need.

In 2002 I attended a computer class where they taught me how to use internet. Since then I have been using internet regularly. It is very useful to me in many ways.
