I am trying to organize my supplies. I have so much beads, and they are not organize. Last week, I brought some sandwich bags, but I am not happy with the outcome. I have them in a drawer, but I hate tumbling through the bags to find what I need. If you have any cheap creative ways to store, I would love your input.

If you don't want to buy any containers that have the seperate little places for your beads how about using egg cartons....they are free and have seperate places for your different kinds of beads and they would be easy to fetch out of each little seperate egg holder.

I never thought of using egg cartons. I use them to put my paints in. I need to go out and buy some beads. I am thinkng about going online and buying beads on ebay or JoAnns.com. If anyone has any ideas where I can buy beads please let me know. It has been so long since I have bought some beads. Does anyone know where they teach people how to make jewelry?

I have a fishing tackle box that I use for my beads. I know that I need to go out and buy a couple of more bags of beads. I haven't made any jewelry in a while, but I am hoping that after the first of the year I will have time to do this. I will be going back to school to take a couple of classes so I hope I will have time to do this.

I use embroidery floss separator boxes. (You know, those plastic cases with the dividers). I think it works reasonably well.

I have a large stacking plastic lidded box, and inside that lots of smaller, compartmented cases, like fishing tackle boxes, most of these are the ones that various selections of beads came in, and I never throw out an empty one as they always come in useful for loose beads or beads that came in bags. even little tubes can often be stored in the different sections. I usually work on the lid of it, sat by the fire. but I think I need another one now, as unless I fit them all in in an exact way, the lid won't fit on top anymore.

Your stacking box sounds like something I need. I am going to check around to see if I can purchase something like yours.
