| | Since I have always loved the ocean I would choose to explore the deepest recesses of the oceans of this world than the vastness of outer space. There is more life under water...more beauty...and I would definitely feel more comfortable there. | | | | | | |

| | ...Hi there spalladina, Happy 2010. There are so many different plants, fish and other animals living in the ocean, that I think that it would take years upon years just to categorize half of them doing specfic personal research. Marine biology must be a fascinating field. The colors under the ocean are the most beautiful that one can imagine. I love seeing the underwater videos showing the natural wonders under the ocean. Thanks for your response. Take care. | | | |

| | Though both are interesting I would prefer deep sea. I'll go mad if I go in space. I guess same is the case with the others too. This is because we are social beings. | | | | | | |

| | ...Hi shambhujit, Happy 2010. When I see pictures of underwater in the ocean, where the colors are spectacular and the plant life and sea creatures are so amazing, it can take your breath away. I love seeing the ocean scenery, people who go snorkeling, when they are on vacation must love what they discover underwater. Thanks very much for your response. Take care. | | | |

| | Hi there, i am going to go for the outer space. I can't swim, lol. But seriously, the outer space is more interesting for me that the depth of the ocean. I like to know what's up there. There are questions lurking in my mind about heaven and hell. And i am definite that you can't find these in the ocean. | | | | | | |

| | ...Hi there Gareth, You gave me my first good laugh of the day. No, I don't think you will find answers to heaven or hell in the ocean. :o) So thanks for that. The ocean, as I have said previously to other comments, is so very beautiful, with all the many varieties of sea life and plants, it would be a remarkable feat to find out about everything that is there to see and understand. Thanks so much for your response. Take care. | | | |

| | ..Hi again Gareth, I think I got distracted by your heaven and hell comment. :o) I did not complete my thought on what you said. Outer space I think has so many undiscovered things. I think that England put out a news release in 2009, that they had found 32 more planets in space. I have not heard much more about it, but if it is true, I am sure there will be more news related to the story. TIE (take it easy). | | | |

| | As both are very interesting I would like to do both deep sea and outer space if I could but you want us to choose one so I would choose deep sea. There is lots to see under the sea and from pictures I have seen it is beautiful. | | | | | | |

| | ...Hi there happy, I totally agree with you, there is so much beauty underwater, that it would be thrilling to dig deeper into the treasures of the ocean. Now I am not a scuba diver or anything, but you could have your large sized boat out there with your underwater video camera, taking all kind of beautiful pictures. Also taking samples of sea plants and live sea creatures for research purposes. There are such colorful things in the ocean, and it is so lovely to view them. Thank you very much for your response. Take care. | | | |

| | Outer space for sure! One of my biggest hobbies is astronomy. The depths of the ocean, and stuff under water in general, can be breathtaking, but, for me, not nearly as much as space. The vastness, the complexity, it's so beautiful and incomprehensible. | | | | | | |

| | ...Hi UpsideDownPineapple, Happy 2010. I think that outer space holds a world of information, that we have not even half-way begun to uncover. Just last year I think, England announced that they had discovered 32 new planets. Think about that, if it is true, what an amazing thing, if there are that many additional planets out there, waiting for investagation and research. It is mind blowing to say the least. We will see what comes next. We haven't even checked out all the othere planets that have names yet. :o) Astronomy is a great hobby. Take care. Thanks so much for your response. | | | |

| | Hi artistry DEEP BLUE SEA and the VAST BLUE SKY..... A rally of thoughts pass through the mind. Sea is far from me. But the irresistible wave calls me waving it's hand. In my language the romantic poem is there. I try to give the substance. Have seen the sea? .... Never have I seen Have heard about deep blue sea. But a spoon full of sea I ever try to find in your eye. The deepness of the sea I find in you. The vastness weaving me... Thought comes to the mind .. If the all heart operated to a sea. But..... Sadness of the deep blue see... Makes me thought full What is the sorrow that makes it sad? Overwhelming sorrow makes some time it irritated. And in anger it though to the bank. Have seen the sea? .... Never have I seen Have heard about deep blue sea. And the sky... sky is to fly. unlimited end of the sky is the imagination of mind. Fly fly and fly I am flying in the the unlimited sky of imagination. Thanks | | | | | | |

| | I would love to be launched into outerspace in an underwater containment pod filled with deep sea creatures. I would need to have some kind of jet propulsion system as well as very large oxygen tanks. Ideally we would land on a watery planet where all of the sea animals would be released to populate the ocean plantes waters and begin a new phase of evolution. I would also evolve with the help of scientificaly controled gene splicing into a space mermaid where I could conduct outerspace underwater surveys of landscapes for the intergalactic development commitee of the united states government. | | | | | | |

| | ..Hi tawny, You are a brave soul. You should be somewhere with researchers. You have very a progressive scientific mind, which could be of good use in a research laboratory. Fascinating what you purpose to do. Time would have to be taken to make sure that you and all your species would be able to survive the elements, along with the need for drinkable water. But as I said, you would make a great scientist, with a great sense of humor. :o) Take care. | | | |

| | Hi artistry, I'd say the sea rather than neither, which is my natural answer. Both involve wearing hideous bulky costumes and would be very cold. Forget it, I'll stick with neither. | | | | | | |

| | ...Hi there thea, hope all is well. I didn't qualify it, but you know in this world of remote control, you could stay on your boat and send down a camera to the depths for all kinds of pictures. As well as collect samples for research of species. In outer space the same thing, like that little rover thingee on Mars or whereever it was. You would be bulk suit free and dry as could be, but your work could still be accomplished for mankind. "o) Thanks for your response. Take care. | | | |

| | I love swimming, but really the only time that I have time for it now is when we are visiting my wife's home country (Thailand) where the climate is warm enough for me. I did consider following a course (run by Australians) out there to learn to do deep-sea diving, and as I am also interested in the earth's fauna and flora, I think that taking that one stage further and exploring the depths would have been interesting. Outer space - the attractions are less obvious. It takes a long time to get anywhere (which I would find boring), and there is no guarantee that you would find much of interest. There would be some views of earth which could be fascinating, but that would be about the limit, at least as far as I am concerned. | | | | | | |

| | ...Hi astonysh, Happy 2010. As I was mentionung to my friend thea, that there is the option of doing all of this by remote control. Underwater cameras for the ocean depths. Collection of different plant species and sea creatures possibly. Outer space, the rover gave us a lot of pictures, some other well equipped space vehicle could transverse for us as we document the information. Deep-sea diving would be fascinating, so much to see underwater, what an adventure that would be. Thanks so much for your response. Take care. | | | |
