Do you like diamonds?   

I do like SOME diamond pcs but I'm actually far more fond of sapphires and amethysts to be honest with you...and Amber...I'm not a huge fan of standard jewelry really..I like unique and totally (or at least partially) uncommon pcs.

i dont really care for them but im not a jewelry person.. it makes me think of people that are shallow though when they say "diamonds are a girls best friend" etc.. but maybe if i liked jewelry more i would see it different

What's that song . . . diamonds are a girl's best friend . . . hee hee. I like diamonds, but I don't feel strongly about them. I like some jewelry, but diamonds aren't necessarily my favorite. I don't know why they are prized . . . I would be just as happy if someone gave me some funky piece of jewelry . . . I like the fun accessories. I think if I had a big diamond, I would be more worried about losing it - like you said, it's pricey!

I like shiny things and diamonds are definitely shiny. But they are so expensive! I don't have any of them, I can think of better things to spend my money on but if the prices were the same as for rhinestones I'd have a lot of them!

i'm not fond of jewelery,including diamond.i even only have two gold rings which are my wedding ring that i have to wear :) actually, i'm not interesting in diamond or jewelery at all.

I'm not really into diamonds either. I worried about my wedding ring constantly when I was married. I am a huge fan of abalone. I have lots of pieces of it..I also love emeralds-although I don't have any. I try not to wear expensive jewelry because I am destructive LOL

There was a time when about the only thing a woman could own independently - was jewelry. The more valuable a piece of jewelry, the more secure she could be.

Well as previous responses have also shown diamonds just aren't as popular as they used to be. People are finding other things to spend that money on. And unless you are rich diamonds are probably somewhere at the end of that list. I don't think I have ever worn a real diamond and I am not dieing to or anything. They are just another materialistic thing really.

there can be some truth that many women like diamonds. that's because diamonds are attractive more than any other gems. i like looking at diamonds but not planning to buy one myself because it's not my way of investment. but last year, my big brother gave me a surprise present: a purple box with some jewelry including a diamond ring. he told me the value so i'm wearing it with care. hahaha! most of my female friends like it not only because of the diamond but also due to its unique design. the diamond is just small and neatly locked so it looks cute.
people have different preferences and orientation so it's just ok whether you like a diamond or not. you're still a woman even if you don't like diamonds. ^.^

I like how the word sounds and feels like. Diamond is associated with money since owning a jewelry with diamond is too much expensive for me.

Do I like diamonds? Yes I do, who doesnt want it? But I only like it when its given from someone. I wont buy expensive jewelry for myself.

Have you watch blood diamond by Leonardo deCaprio? Seeing this movie made me think twice of liking a diamond.
