Do you do crafts as a hobby as well as to get rid of stress?  

Lol i was rubbish at all the craft things at school as at the time i did not like doing things like that as i would be thinking of other things whilst in the lesson like all the things i was going todo with friends after school.Where as now i find it is a great thing to release the stress as well as to make abit of money as well.I never use glitter as i am also like you i also end up with it every where that i do not want it and never where i do want it.

I do sell alot of my cards to alot of my friends as well as their family and to my family as well.I find that way i can then replace all the things like the papers as well as the cardsso that i can make even more as well as make a bit of pocket money as well.I get lots of people that order my cards as well as the people that see my cards also have been known to knock on my door and ask to buy some which is great.

I think it is great if things can be recycled as then that saves alot of money as well as alot of time trying to look in shops for things that we could find at home.I also do decoupage as well as abit of knitting as i find that a good hobby as well as a good way to relax and earn abit of pocket money.

I agree. I would love to be able to sell some of my creations, I just don't know how to go about doing so.

I think that there are alot of things that you can get on a computerthat you can print out and use on cards as well as other things that you can do as a hobby.There are also alot of sites that will give you lots of good idea of other things you can do aswll as a bit of advice if you are unsure of what to use etc.I lso do not have alot of room so i have to put most of my craft things in my bedroom and bring them downstairs when i need them.

I think that it is great that you are like me and can unwind while doing a project as well as you also fee like you have achived something when the project has been completed.I think that i i did not do things like the paper pricking then i would find that i would be alot more stressed as well as i would have alot more of a problem with my skin.Good luck with your next project.

You should have alook around on the internet under hobbies as that way you may find something that catches your eye.I think that there are also alot of hobbies out there that also cost alot of money as the things that you need to buy cost soo much money as well.One of my friends said that her hobby is face book and playing all those games on there as that do not cost her anything to do that all the time.

dragon thats so sad, I feel sad for you and you guitars why did the music leave you, go play some Mozart then maybe the music will restart in you. I hate to think of your poor lonely guitars just sitting around all sad and lonely.

Hatley, the music left when my husband did. He broke my heart and although it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to me, the music is gone. Perhaps it will come back some day.

Hi,Hatley.I have been making cards for along time now and i have found it very easy to put a card together without a clue of what to use and where to begin with was easy.I am no artist and i never done much of anything like the art side of things when i went to school,but i love making cards as well as selling them to people.The cards that i make must be ok as the people who buy them keep coming back for more.It is best to shop around on the internet for cheap blank card as well as all the other bits and bobs that you need to make a card.I have an ornare template that i use as well as a pricking mat and a pricking pen that i use to do all the paper pricking as that way there are no mistakes made.I also put decoupage on the fronts of the cards as well and these are also cheap to buy as well as you can make a few cards out of the one sheet.I would recommend this to anyone as this is great and there are even people out there that suffer with their hands that also do card making as well.

I do not think that there is anything wrong with anyone doing a hobby/craft as long as they enjoy it thats all that matters.All of my friends know that i make cards as some of them come round just to watch me as well as they see cards that i have made then they order them off me for themselves as well as for their friends.My cards have been sent all over the world so far.

I had noticed that my card making did relieve the stress as well as also helped my skin get alot better.I am just finding it hard to try to fit everything in that i want to do as well as all the things that i need todo.It is also great that i can make abit of extra pocket money as well as buy craft things from the money that i make from doing this as a hobby.

I do think that a bit of relaxation do us all good as to destress and like you say it also helps with other problems.I used todo alot of knitting nearer christmas as i used to knit mini stockings,but this year i did not get the time todo that as i was busy making all the christmas cards and was really into doing that as well.Lets hope they soon find a cure for us both for the psoriasis.
