A little annoyed with Glenn Beck lately  

she is a truther sympathizer...and I don't see anything wrong with that. I may not personaly buy in to the whole NWO plot myself, but I don't think we have the entire story either.
Medina wa caught off guard by the question, that was obvious. but my issue is it almost seemed like a baitied question, almost as if it was intentional, to throw her off and trip her up. He has in fact lost a great deal of credibility with me over that. If he was a true libertarian, he would be more supportive of candidates like her over establishment republicans like Perry. I don't blame him for not overtly advocating anyone...but he has no problem openly tearing down others he feel deserve it....why not the very establishment types he claims to be against? Why turn around and intentionaly try to make a liberty candidate look like an arse if you don't have some deeper motives?

Beck has made a huge effort to distance himself from birthers and truthers. I think that he and Bill O. believe this will keep them from being regarded as kooks. I am not a truther, but I see no harm in further investigation. The bottom line may be that the American public shouldn't know everything for security reasons. I may be okay with that, if it's in the interest of national security.

I would like to see this interview with the candidate that you referred to so that I can make an opinion about it. If Glenn likes somebody, he is pretty blunt about it, and if he doesn't like somebody he is the same way. At least from what I have seen.

I seen the youtube video of Sarah Palin, and the response is not defining her as a truther, but is more of a "cover all your bases" type of response. Investigate further ? Why not, since there are a lot of people who feel there is a conspiracy at large. I would do the same thing if I were Sarah.

As far as Glenn's style is concerned, he is who he is. And he is Hi-Lar-I-Ous ! It helps you to remember some of things he is saying through that humor by keeping you entertained and not at all bored. And everyone needs to remember, he is not a journalist, but rather an entertainer.

I always reserve the right to change my opinion, but right now I am in step with at least 95% of what he has brought to the table.

I agree, she was waling a line, but she did come out and say that she thinks more investigating needs to be done at least she was upfront about that much. It was a baited question though and thats what bugged me. Unfortuneatly Mrs Medina is not a seasoned politician and was caught off gurd, so it did trip her up. Other than that, I personaly feel she is just the type of governor our states need these days. She certainly has a lot more spine than my wimpyarse federal boot licker.

I'm watching that new governor of New Jersey. I wonder how long he's going to be around! He made a speech about how everyone is going to have to sacrifice and that included the unions--that they were part of what was breaking the economy along with the reckless spending and entitlement programs. I admire him and hope he serves out his term in good health. He certainly sets a good example so far. Now lets see if he can carry out his ideas.

You obviously have respected O'Reilly, Beck and everyone else from Fox News since I've known you here, now suddenly, after bragging day after day about Fox's top ratings you're saying they're losing credibility with a lot of Americans over the one thing they've gotten right? Either the individual commentators or someone in charge there has the intelligence to know if they embraced the birthers they'd lost ALL credibility.

Define conspiricy theory? It's a pretty broad brush. There is quite a bit of his material that I came to well before he did and reached the same conclusion based on same and cooberating evidence I dug up on my own. There is quite a bit goin on most folks aren't ready to believe. I spend time at prisonplanet's forum....trust me I KNOW conspiricy lunacy all too well. But even in there there are pretty starkly true, startling things being written and posted about. You just have to sift through the junk.
But I digress. I am just really peaved he has been raking Medina through the coals, she truly doesn't deserve it and is genuinely just the kind of governors our states need. She's Ron Paul in a skirt. ALL of our states should be so lucky.
I'm even more peaved now because he just did it AGAIN on his show. Pretty much marginalized her and put her in the "extremist" catagory. ARGHGHGHG!

ROFL! as soon as I hit sublit he was doing a BIG back paddle on Medina, put her down in the "us" catagory because of her stance on states rights....must have gotten a flood of emails and a hand signal from a a frantic stage manager...lol!

After reading my comment I have just come a very scary conclusion:

As governor of Alaska Sarah Palin took the oil companies to court and won her case, millions of dollars was return to the people of Alaska.
Governor Palin along with a few other good governor happen to refuse the stimulus money,these governors was threaten by the Obama administration because they would not take it.
When the stimulus was doled out Alaska had 300 million dollars in their rainy day fund and the state accounting was balanced to the last penny.
Glen Beck is not a Palin fan he endorses no one,Beck uses charts,pictures,videos which with out question have condemned Obama's old political pal's out of Chicago.
When you take your smear paint brush at least use some real facts to do it.

Kenny, your idol Palin had no problem taking every dime of PORK she could find, and when she couldn't find anymore, she hired a lobbyist to find more. We all remember the "Bridge to nowhere", and we all know that had Palin's finger prints all over it. Palin fought to tax the oil companies as much as she could, and as you put it even went to court to do so. If Obama did something like this, YOU would attack him for years. When Palin does it, you praise her. Can you say: HYPOCRISY? I am sure you can't KENNY!!!

Debater, the actual tea parties aren't endorsing her and her like, only the establishment that hijacked it. Unfortunatly that establishment has the money and clout to get the loudest voice in it. While candidates like Medina are marginalized. I did notice Beck doing a lot of sudden back paddling on her the last few minutes of his segmant though. I suspect he is under A LOT of fire over his initial treament of her, in fact, he said he had texans screaming at him over it. I was so ready to call in to his radio show this morning and ream his arse over it, I still might.

X, I understand that Palin isn't endorsed by this group, but they paid her $100,000 to speak in front of their convention. Would you pay someone that kind of money if you didn't agree with what they had to say? I think this race in Texas is not going to be good for republicans or tea party supporters. They very well could fight against each other, split the votes, and both parties could lose the election. But, this may be the best thing for the Independent movement to show the republicans that they mean business, and can control elections. If that is what the Independent movement wants to accomplish.

The "group" that paid for her to speak and charged attendees the convention fee (raised by local groups to send reps) is not, I repeat (that important) NOT the tea party, it was a convention called to solidify a hijcking. I wish groups had just boycottedd it, all of them. but i guess they figured it was at least a chance to be heard and seen as a viable movement. Many were lead like sheep to it thinking it was a big ol' grass roots convention.
I don't know that I would discount the liberty movement in Texas or Medina's candidacy. this woman has a very ron Paul apeal to her supporters and she despite the contrived controversies over her, she continues to gain more and more support. She could easliy beat Kay Baily Butchinson in a general if it were held today and she were the republican candidate, not sure how she would do as a third and independant candidate between her, Perry and Kay...either way, a lot can happen in 8 months so who knows.

No, Median is just a solid advocate of nullification, nothing more. She is not a secessionist. That is something that has been put out there about her to discredit her and make her look like some kind of exteemist loon. no, Medina is just a good solid liberty styled candidate in the spirit of those like Ron Paul.
I watched a bit of a 3 way debate between her, Perry and Hutchinson...she handed both of them their own @sses on a silver platter with a side of fries. This is the type of public servant we should all be looking for both in our state governments and at the national level, so people in the national establishment and main strem media (fox included) just CAN'T have that. so, they have to make her look like a loon and marginalize her, ie; "she's a truther!", "she's a sesesionist!". etc. Next thing they will be tieing her in with the likes of that brain dead plot who crashed his plane in to the IRS building....I'm telling you wait for it, pretty quick you will be hearing her name in assosiation with him in some way when she is talked about in the media.
