I know. What's the point in serious hardware that you have to emasculate to have fun with. I do know someone that went fishing with a Huey and an M60D door gun. It wasn't just the Red Sea that could be parted when one of those guys let loose! Was the side arm to commit suicide with if the bear got you? I used to visit Gibraltar frequently and the apes would get down into town occasionally and wreak havoc. But a bear in your kitchen could ruin your day I guess. Unless he could cook of course!

Well a bear in the kitchen would be good if it was in the freezer, bear meat is pretty godd when you cook it right.
The side arm is carried because it is a lot oeasier to use on something that is on top of you, when a long gun would be useless.

It was in Angola and the host was one of the generals who carved the country up after the civil war - which didn't really end, just continued under a different name. A gun in a holster is a bit like pepper spray in a purse - comforting to have, but probably of little use when you're being assaulted. I'd probably shoot myself! LOL.

in the US where we had had some weird ones like the revenge of the killer tomatoes, why not the revenge of the Ants? tons of ants crawling into peoples' homes with all the screwy music in the background and people collapsing as they are covered with ants, town alarms going off, oh my what a story. We thought that was happening here a few weeks back Hatley. There were ants everywhere throughout the house as we have had weeks of rain. They must have known it was coming and set up camp in our home. They were even in our bed each night!
