Still u have landline phone at your home despite of having cell phone with u?  

I still use a land-line because my cell phone is used for everything including business. I use the land-line for family and it is for me, my private number. Only a select few people have it.

I use my cellular phone when I text my friends. Call rates on cellular phones are expensive in our country. So, when I really want to talk to an important person I use our landline. Both communication lines are very useful.

Well I have to get a landline because that is the only cost effective way to get a broadband internet in this really backward country. BUT i rarely use the landline unless i call someone's landline up, because I have the call package offer that can call any landlines for free. The thing is though, nowadays more people are using mobile phones than owning a proper connected landline phone, so it is kind of a backup phone for me now.

I use mobile phone which is post paid connection and land phone is like a identity proof. Moreover I would mostly use land phone for internet browsing at home.

Yep, we still used land-lines here in our home, we just use our mobile phones when we're outside or away... and here in our country, fees for calling using your mobile phone is a lot more expensive than when ur calling using your land-line...

hie, i still use the land lined telephone. its convenient for family members. i used it to phone long distance and outstation calls. for local calls its much much cheaper using the land line. there are few packages to choose from just like mobiles. in other words, a lot of user use two types of phone facilities. and i belong to one of them and so are all my family members and friends.

I do not have a cell phone and never have. I have stepped up however to a wireless phone. I have no reason to have a cell phone and pay the rediculous prices for it. If I was a teenager or social butterfly that got calls constantly then I might have to to have a cell. I lead a quiet life and have probably used a sell a dozen times in my life.

For us, we don't have a land line, however we plan to have it again. It gives a different sense of peace of mind when you have a land line. In any case that there is a problem with the phone signal then you can still call home to a land line.

I think it's good to have both! I have a mobile but I wouldn't say that I use it much, I just have pay as you go credit on it which is all I need. I tend to make most of my calls using my landline as it is much cheaper. I also have free calls on my landline which is very useful. I know that some people tend to rely on one without the other but I suppose it's more convenient if you can utilise both! Andrew

I still have landline connection because I dsl connection for which you have landline connection, that's why landline is still maintained...
