We all know that a discussion or topic with one line description is deleted here but I am just wondering why there are still members who posted one line discussion, are they not aware with this policy? I answered several one line discussion and ended up deleted by myLot.
So try to avoid the same mistakes by not posting one liner discussion to avoid being deleted. I just posted this kind of discussion to remind members not to commit the same error.hehehe.

yes your right, i saw a lot of newbies doing that thinking they can earn a lot by posting a lot even just by one liner, i already warned some of them to avoid doing that though some are already aware but some are not coz they are not reading then the next day they will complaint why their post was deleted and so.

jlamela I guess some mylotters get a kick out of not having to read the rules and all the information and just write discussions without even bothering to find out that there are rules., they w ant the older members here to rattle off the rules, but even when we do that, they do not seem to remember them so the next week back to one liners and getting them deleted. And I just really do not understand the fun in that. so a lot of them quit and blame it on mylot when really it was just a simple matter of reading the information a
nd using it to make good discussions that do not break any rules. guess they all want something for nothing. next thing they will make three word discussions and grip when they are deleted. You see for some reason a lot of mylotters do not think they need to bother reading the rules. I know they can read as they read these one line discussions complaining about getting discussions deleted.

Yes I think most members failed to read the rules, but I don't think they really forget to understand the ruling here. MyLot always sends us notice if our discussions are deleted due to short length of descriptions. Now I am very careful to post my responses and always make sure I avoided topics with short descriptions so that my answer will not be deleted too.

I wonder if it's
right to do a response in
Japanese haiku.
When I make these kinds of responses, I usually expect them to be deleted, but so far all the deletions occurred on deleted discussions. Some of them I thought didn't violate the rules, but obviously I err in my judgment. So far I haven't been kicked out, so I'll just keep responding until they can't stand me to be around anymore.
And so far no indication has been given to me - yet.

Actually there are members also that responded in their own language, mostly not english, but I noticed that these kind of responses did not deleted. I think myLot has lots of respect for international members and they just respect the freedom of having to express thoughts in their own language and dialect.

Probably the people who post very brief responses or offer questions with only two or three words do so because of their inability to discuss the topic further, or often times some topics lend themselves to a shorter response, or maybe the person doesn't really care to comment, but is doing so just to be polite. There are so many reasons as to why people post short responses.
It is better to write a response that is of sufficient length and not have too many of such responses than to write fifteen or twenty phrases for a variety of topics, because that doesn't really help the audience reading the particular article.

Hello,
Thanks for your response. I do agree with you, other than wasting our time to post comments on short descriptive discussions why not choose to post response on lengthy discussions so as not to waste our effort on discussions to be deleted later on.

I tend to believe that there are a lot of people that think just asking a question is okay. However, this is not good and a lot of times when you really get down to it, there really isn't a question that is asked in these kind of discussions. The reason that I believe that these kinds of discussions tend to get deleted is because of the fact that there is really no way that they can get quality content when there isn't quality to start with.
