Re-arranging furniture - how often do you do this?  

Hi Cheate, I am pleased to hear you enjoy this type of thing, I do actually feel a sense of achievement now that I have finished, although rather tired. :D

I also feel satisfied once I finished doing this though it's quite tiring. The thing is I enjoyed it.

Wow what a result the house selling within 5 days, brilliant result and yes I agree well worth paying for someone to come help. I have never heard of a clutter consultant though. I realy feel I have achieved a lot today though. Huggles. Ellie :D

A clutter consultant? Did I read this correctly? What a brilliant idea!I would love to have one in my house to clear my clutter. I have heard of designer consultants for small spaces but never a clutter consultant. I will look online about this.Maybe I could pick up some tips as my house is small but the kids all gravitate to it still and stay with me.

Hi Porcospino, I think it does take a while of lving somewhere and moving things around to find the design you are happiest with. In fact today as I also have indoor rabbits I shifted where they sleep around too but are not in the lounge they are by patio doors which means they can go in and out to garden and just go back in cge when ready. Hi Jill, My lounge is quite big but awkward in layout as have tairs on one wall, window and door on another, storage heater on another and the kitchen door the other so not one complete straight wall, but I love the way it looks now, comfortable with it already. When space i limited it is always difficult to move things around I agree. Huggles. Ellie :)

I would be worried if he were redecorating at my sons age 6, be a bit contempary in design if he did I should imagine lol. Really do feel better now though as so much more space and easier to keep tidy, things can't get hidden on the unit behind sofa anymore. ellie - u did brill today hun!! i thought i was about to say that i rarely alter the place, but in all honesty i have lost count of the number times paul's come home from work and found i've moved stuff, tidied, put shelves up - taken em down, decorated ... for all his faults he does have a helluva lot to put up with! x

OT this is my very good friend and neighbour who is new to the Lot - please welcome. Wendie if you respond to discussion rather than to someone elses respones I can reply and you earn more. Off to bed now but I am sure OT will help you along the way. Good friend on here bless. OT Wendie witnessed the before and after so I did in fact make a major difference in the home today. My son yesterday even apologised for the mess as she walked through to see the tadpoles in garden that were now frogs. Hi Tessah, Well as you don't anymore I guess that denotes you are content. I am happy now with the repositioning as I was restless with the large unit behind the sofa on the wall it was in the lounge but measured another section of wall up although it had shelves and found it would fit there so took the shelves down and perfect so I am now relaxed with the new positioning.
