Job seeker commits suicide !  

That is an old news already. I have read it a month ago and I am glad that you found it out. As you pause for a while and analyze, there is a good lesson that we can get from that suicide. We can see that the girl is taught only to find a job and not to start one. Since she is primarily taught to find a job, she doesn't know of anything else but to find a job, which she was rejected for about 200 times. If she was taught about business and how to start one, it might be a different story. Don't you think so?

I am very sad to hear about your friend. I do not really know what to say. I just hope that other job seekers do not do the same thing. Was she living at home at the time...guess it really does not matter now.

This is such a sad story. What is so unbelievable is that after 200 interview know on hired her. That is crazy. I bet these people who didn't hire her are feeling sick to their stomachs now. There had to be some type of job that she could have done. What a shame with her whole life ahead of her. I also can't believe her parents nor her boyfriend could see the road she was going down that would lead her to do something so drastic has killing herself. I wonder if this will make employers rethink rejecting someone for a job.

That is sad. I too have a hard time in findings job. Its a pain to be rejected. Well most of us do feel pain when we are rejected. But to commit suicide? ,well I don't think so. Am at my thirty's and still no job. I an accounting graduate and i study a well known university. My grades are not bad. But still I got rejection to some company's. So what i did is a self job. I started as a carwash boy in my house. With the little money, I started to cook peanuts and sell to the stores as a wholesale. Luckily my sister abroad helps me financial . So with the money, I study again as an electronic tech and soon I became a cell phone techician. Again, with the help of my sisters, I was able to put up a very own shop. Then, there was I my life is just begun as my business grew and grew. Now I'm gonna invest another business, a photo shop and this time I will ask no more for financial needs because I can sustain my income. Well, if we are jobless? we can be self employed. The best thing to do for the unemployed. With a prayer, patience, and with a dream. Things will be possible. Be positive always.

Those type of situation could cause depression and depression could lead to suicide. Her mother could've consoled her during her times of depression. It could have worked and she could have found the courage to get herself up again to find a job.

I, too, I think have do about 100 jobs in 9 years. Some I do long, and others short term.

If I were her, maybe I will commit suicide too because of the rejections I can't take.

But she can do her own business, right? THere's a will there's a way...

That was terrible and I mean experiencing that kind of job interviews. Well, I will also be depressed after experiencing that kind of situation but I'll definitely not going to have a suicide. well, If I were in her case I will not rush on having a work after a failed interview but rather I'll have a vacation and somehow recall all the things I've learned and practice my skills so that the next time I will join the interview again. I wouldn't be disappointed. It was a sad story for her to end her life that fast. I'll pray for her soul!

She had a short disposition. God has a good purpose for every person. That girl focus his attention on her situation, got depressed and take her life away as a means of escape, rather than focus her attention to GOD's purpose and promises. She never thinks that light comes after darkness. She miss God's blessings.

Hi Gany it is very sad and hard truth. Many youngsters are ending their life for not succeeding in the work they took up. It is not only in the interviews suicides among youngsters are present for simple reasons too. Now during the economical crisis I have heard many such stories of people end their life as they has been dismissed from their work. It all shows how unhealthy mind now the young people are having. We have to face the problem present in front of us. One second is enough to end our life. We cannot able to create it even for our life long. What problem comes to us we have to face it with brave heart. It is the lesson she has to learn and also teaches to the young generation.
