Walker's "Prankster", Ian Murphy, and his view of Disabled US troops...

::: Warning, foul, graphic language :::: F**K THE TROOPS by Ian Murphy. "So, 4000 rubes are dead. Cry me the Tigris. Another 30,000 have been seriously wounded. Boo f***ing hoo. They got what they asked for—and cool robotic limbs, too. Likely, just reading the above paragraph made you uncomfortable. But why? The benevolence of America’s “troops” is sacrosanct. Questioning their rectitude simply isn’t done. It’s the forbidden zone. We may rail against this tragic war, but our soldiers are lauded by all as saints. Why? They volunteered to partake in this savage idiocy, and for this they deserve our utmost respect? I think not." This is the "man" that the left praises for "pranking" the governor of Wisconsin. I don't call him the left's "hero" or anything because I highly doubt any of my liberal or even moderate friends would support this little bit of slime. No matter what you think about the prank, Walker, Republicans or Conservatives, please tell me that you agree he has no credibility after reading his heartless, hateful rant. http://tinyurl.com/4tas9w

ParaTed, I can't say that this man has "no credibility" since Governor Walker spoke for himself, in his own words. What I will say is that if these words were uttered by Ian Murphy, he is totally ridiculous in this matter. Nobody should feel comfortable in agreeing with attacks on our troops ... nobody!

He has no credibility since there were no "gotcha" moments in that phone call, and now we know that he's a little piece of trash who makes fun of disabled vets. The thing is though, as vile as the little anal fissure is, I wouldn't support any moves to silence him. He uses his freedom of speech to prove to us all he isn't worth listening to.

Thank you for realizing I'd never consider a jerk like this to be a hero! Remember, this is coming from someone who has been opposed to the Iraq war from the beginning and now thinks it's time to get our butts home from Afghanistan, but I always have and always will support our troops totally and wholeheartedly. Obviously Murphy has no credibility when he speaks about them in such an offensive way. However, that doesn't change the fact that Walker took his call thinking he was David Koch and admitted to him that he'd considered planting "troublemakers" in the protests, that he'd been in constant contact with several other GOP governors, presumably about plans to bust the unions in their respective states and that he'd intended to "trick" the Democratic Senators into coming back to Wisconsin by telling them he'd "talk" to them. To my way of thinking there were two men on that telephone line with no credibility. Annie

Except Murphy was the only one who said anything about busting unions, and Walker didn't ever take the bait. Also, the Koch brothers have put out a statement saying they have never had any interest in buying the power plants in question. Also, contrary to the lies from the left, Koch brothers and Gov. Walker have never met. Also, I don't see any difference between the Koch brothers donating to right wing candidates and Bill Gates or Warren Buffet donating to left wing candidates.

Well, if he does that it will only be copying what the left has been doing all along. The one thing that liberals hate the most is anyone else using the tactics they have perfected.

So it's fine that Walker considered planting troublemakers and spoke of plans to trick the Democratic Senators? Annie

I dont see any credit to him at all. TO me the troops yes they do what they are told to do. but also they set there and thik for themselves. I just wonder what my randson that is in afganistan would say about this ranting of this idiot!. or my son who serverd in Gulf war and in Iraq. and for his 27 years of serving our country Think I will email it to him . This man that said or wrote this is nothing but slime!

His rant not withstanding, he lost credibility with his prank. It backfired. The Governor did not say a thing in this interview that he hasnt said in public. I find it vastly amusing that this is the best they can do!

Me too! I think he blew it by not pushing for a "gotcha moment". However, I really didn't post this to sway anyone's opinion of Walker... I just wanted to show what kind of scum Ian Murphy is.

Maybe jerk is too nice a term. 'Scuze me. I hafta go scrub my mind right now.... People say that you don't pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel. Others say that the pen is mightier than the sword. These sayings are all bogus. They were undoubtedly created by cowards whose only "courage" came to them when sitting alone with pen and paper. And these days it's a keyboard.

It's sad that not only do we have scum like this, but that some people really praise them for what they do.

I am glad you posted this. I was meaning to get around to it, so you saved me the trouble. Worth mentioning is Ian Murphy's other prank, which he entitled “Let There Be Retards,” an exclusive look inside a Kentucky creationism museum – while Murphy was falsely pretending to have Asperger’s Syndrome. This guy has zero credibility, but the MSM that reports on this will never mention his other works or pranks.

Hello ParaTed2k, I don't have to be that smart to know who's fault really is it, and definitely it's not the US Troops! they can't go there unless they are ordered to. UN Nations voted if Iraq should be attacked or not, as I recall only US, UK and Italy (I think) voted Yes while the "Rest" NO. but Mr. Bush was like, who cares just beat them anyways, then blame the troops? wow! the troops didn't decide to go there, the Commander in Chief order them to.
