Do you love crystals?

I love crystals and stones not just for their beauty but for their healing powers. They are Nature's power-packs! I am constantly amazed by the variety of them around the world. When the weather is bad and there is a lot of electromagnetism in the air, I wear a Fluorite pendant, which helps to balance the energies and prevents me from getting headaches. I also keep a Rose Quartz for any healing that I need. I found this interesting site if you would like to see more and find out what properties crystals and stones have: http://pixiecrystals.com/shop

I really love crystals and have a small collection of them. I became interested after my first visit to Glastonbury in 2005. I have got loads of crystal tumble stones and a few crystal shapes like pyramid. I like the healing that crystals can do. Fluorite is one of my favorites but my best one is Lapiz. I have some Rose Quartz in my garden and it looks really special.

I love Lapis too and have a beautiful Lapis and silver ring which looks like the night sky. Lapis is a very spiritual stone which opens up the third eye. It also protects against psychic attack, is a powerful though-amplifier, and helps alleviate migraines. That's only a few of its amazing properties. The Ancient Egyptians loved it!

Check out www.judyhall.co.uk Judy is the author of 'The Crystal Bible', amongst many other spiritual books. This is an invaluable tool for the crystal user and lover.

I've always had a real affinity for working with crystals, but the ones I already have are the ones I'll work with now. since I found out how destructive the mining processes were, I stopped buying crystals.

That's certainly something to think of. Maybe we have enough of them around already and shouldn't be destroying any more of our fabulous planet just to get them!

It's a wonderful subject to study and I wish you all the best! Yes, they do have healing properties and each one is different. At this precise moment I have an Amethyst sitting on my laptop to counteract any electromagnetic energy that the machine is giving off. I also keep some of these stones near my TV for the same reason.

the only crystal i loved was crystal Carrington back in the 80's. i have worked with people who swear by crystals and would sit them on their desks. whoa betide anyone who would touch them! not sure what that was about.

They didn't want energy, not specifically yours, to spoil the natural energy of the crystals. I actually think that is a bit neurotic. Crystals can always be cleansed of any negative energy by running fresh water over the harder ones, putting them out in the sun or under a moonlit sky, to recharge them.

Hi mandolin girl, is this the page you were trying to refer us to? http://www.pixiecrystals.com/ I do like crystals. They're beautiful, but I don't know how much faith I have in their healing properties. I've put amethyst under my pillow to aid sleep before, and I've worn cat's eye and amber to job interviews for luck, but I don't know whether I believe in all the benefits claimed by crystal fans. I'd love to experiment more, but the crystals I have are so tiny, I almost wonder if they'd work, and as a poor student, I just can't afford to buy larger ones at the moment. I might try incorporating the little ones I have for a while and see if they make a difference.

Yes, that's the one! Sorry the other link wasn't working. I too am a little bit sceptical of the ones that are supposed to bring good luck, etc., but I believe that when they are used for actual bodily healing, that they do possess healing properties, that have been tried and tested for thousands of years. Anything can be lucky. We just have to believe it is and put good energy into it. It is all in the intent. That is why some people have 'lucky' socks!

I love rocks of all types and live next to a creek bed that gives a nice verity. However I would never buy a crystal unless I could hold it and see if it responded to me.
