I just got a new kitten recently... she's so adorable! I took some video of her chasing her tail:

So since I'm in a kitten mindset I've been searching for kitten videos on YouTube. I've found a bunch of really fun ones. Does anybody have a favorite kitten video to share? Anyone else own a kitten and have videos of them up?

hi allyoftherain so your kitty must have come out from her hiding place and you wont have to worry any more about her. Thats such a cute video.
The renting contract here forbids having kitties so sadly I got to wait till I stop working and can move elsewhere in this nice city where kitties are welcome too.

Actually she started meowing up a storm and I was able to find her then. She's nuzzling my Macbook right now. lol
That's so sad. I hope you can get it worked out so you can live somewhere kitties are allowed.

about 11 years from now for sure I think.... then its time to look for another place. I am so glad you found your kitty and she seems to be happy and more laid back now at your place

lol, well keep trying! I had to take her to the vet this morning and she hates driving plus the vet gave her a shot so she's not too happy right now. Back to hiding again. I know exactly where she is though.. she's in the bed covers in the little room I've confined her to. lol

You KNOW I do!
Like, when Oliver was a baby and there was a cat fight, he'd run and hide - now he runs toward it and wants to be involved!
Or taking a nap with Rygel as a kitten. He woke up and BIT my thumb. Its how he got the nickname "The Cat Who Will Eat Us In Our Sleep"
Or the morning Oliver crawled up and lay on my face, front paws around my nose and back end over the mouth! He earned the nickname "The Nose Cozy"

Aww, what a cute kitten..
I remember a trick I played on my daughter's cat one time because she kept getting in front of the computer while I was trying to do something. A window is next to the computer and during the day when the birds are singing, that when be about the only time she would leave me alone and sit at the window. So I found a youtube video of singing birds to taped Snowball's reaction when she heard the birds..

lol, that is funny. My kitten's taken to walking across my keyboard when I sit on the bed. It's so cute (and a bit bloody annoying, but she's too cute to be made at.)

Aw man. It would have been great if you could keep the cat fooled.

Very cute. I don't think I have seen any cute kitten videos that you probably have not seen already. I have actually never had a kitten. We had a cat for about 2 years, but he was a stray and he was old and very sick when we took him in. He was very sweet though. I think who ever owned him just let him go because they did not want to deal with his illness. We gave him a loving home to live in until his last days. The vet gave him 6 months to live, he lived for 2 years with our love and care.

That's so sad! I'm glad he found a good home with you for the time that he had. Have you thought about getting a new cat?

I watched the video and yes the kitten is indeed cute :). She loves your pen lol...
Uhm, this is quite off-topic but I wanted to share it, I have a female cousin who has a phobia of kittens! The funny thing is she's not afraid of cats, just kittens. I guess phobias can be really random and weird. Hahahahaha, uhm does your kitten knows how to use a litter box? If so, how did you taught her? :)

Thanks, she does! It's kinda weird, she likes it more than the toys I bought her.
That is bizarre. Never heard of that phobia, but it doesn't surprise me... there are some weird phobias out there! My kitten uses the litter box, yes. I didn't have to teach her either, when I bought her home she immediately knew to use it. Her foster owner (the lady she was staying with before I adopted her from the agency) or her cat-mommy could have taught her to use it. Cats are really easy to litter train cause they have a natural instinct to bury their waste. When they're kittens their Moms might even teach them to use the litter box. If not, then you can train them by picking them up and putting them in their litter boxes when they start to squat on the floor.

Some people refer to the owners as the "mom" or "mommy", so I thought I needed to clarify that I meant the biological mom. lol I thought it was a little weird at first, but all my friends call me my kitten's mommy, so I guess I'm used to it by now.
Her name is Nenya, after one of the three elven rings of power in Lord of the Rings. Yeeeaahhh... I'm a fantasy geek.
