Enjoying good music while net surfing

Nope, I don't minimize the music while working on my PC. I love listening to music instead. It will make me calm down and think more.

Hi! I usually listen to music when I'm at the computer, either surfing or just working. Most of the times I just can't work without any music. Yes, I agree that it gives pleasure while we work. I think it relaxes us while we are spending lots of energy in our work. But there are also times that I can work without music. In fact, there are times that I cannot concentrate with music playing in the background. Sometimes the music and lyrics get my attention so much that my focus on work is broken.

Sometimes I'll listen to music, usually on the weekends when there's nothing good on the radio. During the weekdays I listen to news and talk radio in order to keep up with what's going on in the world, so that I know what new disaster to expect and if I should buy something new when I've worn out the old. Lately I've not bought anything or spent any money because of world events and my dollar dwindling all the time. Weekends I listen to old, simple and sweet music from the 30's and earlier, from a simpler time. I listen to the radio and internet streaming old music while I work, 8 hours a day every day, to try to make some extra money for when I'm unable to work anymore. It's a grim world these days and music on the weekends lightens the world a bit.

I need music like I need air to breathe and it does help my mood when Im sad. I like to listen to music with a good beat that makes me want to get up and dance with a smile on my face Music feeds the soul!!

I like to listen to music online sometimes while working. It all depends on what kind fo work I am doing though. Alot of times, I prefer silence while working.

My PC has become among other things a gigantic radio and juke box. There is music that is legal for download as well that you can save to CD or your music player so you can take your music with you. People have taken the melodies of working PC's, especially the Windows operating system, and turned them into music.

i have a collection of my favorite songs in my computer. and i listen to them most of the time, while mylotting in the office. if i heard some new songs, i searched for them on the internet and download a copy of them so i can play it again and again.

Hi sukumar794! I agree. Music does make surfing the web more pleasurable. I occasionally listen to audiobooks while web surfing. However, it depends on how much I need to focus on reading because it can get distracting. It is not difficult to rewind the book and start where I lost concentration. Back to listening to music. I think music helps me unwind. Searching is not stressful but listening to music helps me relax.

hello sukumar, i like soft music while working whether it is office or house related. but when i am in deep thought, i prefer to put off everything with a sound and then that is the time i concentrate. i guess i cant tolerate sounds when i am in need of concentration for some very important decisions to make. ann

I do love listening to music whilst mylotting or doing any other chores. The problem sometimes is that when I do some writing or reading or even mylotting while listening to music, I tend to sing along and have no idea what I'm writing at all. It gets so confusing that I turn the player off.

I play music while surfing the net. My favorite on my playlist is the 80's love songs. I love listening to the melody and reading informative articles at the same time. It is a good way to spare time, enjoying the good music while learning according to interests.

I've got a couple thousand songs in my computer of my own choosing. I downloaded most of them before all the free download sights went bust. They are a lot of really good songs from Croatia, that are hard to find in North America. If I can buy a song on CD I will, but if I can't find the song, I'll download it for free. I miss those sights, but I'm glad I was able to get what I got before they crapped out.

if i am not watching tv i listen to music. my wife has a lot of good music set on the laptop and i love hearing the songs she loves. she used to be singer, actually she is a professional singer but left her career to be a wife and mother to me and our son. she has donna summer, kelly clarkson, tina turner, basia, adele and a lot more different selection from different genre. one of my favorite is Just like heaven by Katie Melua and fast car by Tracy Chapman.

I love listening to music while I work on line. It makes my work easier because I can focus more and I feel in good company :). As I spend on line 10 to 12 hours every day so I have nice collection of music to fill this time. Have a nice day :)

I also listen to music while surfing. It gives me joy and dont feel bored. I listen to mainly bollywood and hollywood songs
