I have searched the internet. went on different sites to look through plants to identify this thing. Its very pretty but I realise that some plants are pretty but dangerous to dogs and pets.
Coco sometimes gets around it in the back yard. Agra had it already planted here when I got here and ive asked her but she doesnt know
someone gave her it and didnt tell her what it was, she keeps saying its ok. can anyone recognise this plant? its purple in the leaves and blooms a light pinkish purple flower at times. its low to the ground like a ground cover and spreads outward. its gotten pretty far now as you can see. im uploading a pic.well i had a better one and it wouldnt upload. kept asking for more details. eeerrrggg2 people like this

No picture is showing. Check out the seed catalogs, like Burpee, Jung seed, etc. And look at their ground covers or low lying plants.

I would either take a picture or a branch of it to a nursery and they could probably tell you what it is. Her saying it is okay doesn't make it so. I can understand your concern. We have a Agricultural office here too that would be able to tell us what such things are.

I have to admit that this is a kind of plant that I've never seen in my life, but I really do think that it is crazy. Unfortunately, our climate here is a lot different from yours so I don't think that it would be able to survive here, which is really a shame because I need to have a good groundcover plant in our front yard because I really want to be able to get rid of the lawn and replace it with plants out there.
