Democrat politicians screw over union members....

The Unions encourage people to vote Democrat and recall Gov. Walker. However, most of the jobs that Gov. Walker's programs are attracting to WI are union jobs... but the Democrats are trying to keep those jobs from coming to our state. Prs. Obama has announced that he won't allow the Keystone Pipeline, which would have been built and maintained by union labor. How long are union members going to put up with Democrats killing their job opportunities?

Not until they figure out they are losing more jobs than Obama is giving them through the government. This is a part of the turning point. The democrats may starting losing the unions here before long.

It's just rampant ignorance Ted. I posted a while ago about how the union president here in New Jersey was demanding that we oppose Chris Christie's anti-union legislation because similar legislation in Indiana led to public employees going without raises for 2009 and 2010. This was banking on union members here being too stupid to realize that we haven't had raises in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and aren't likely to get any in 2012 either. If union members would pull their heads out of their collective arses they'd realize that the unions are screwing us and we are literally PAYING THEM TO DO IT. Actually, to be fair, some people got raises. The union DOUBLED the dues we owed them so the jerks at the top of the union got some extra cash in their pockets as we got screwed.

About that pipeline...I saw an interview with the governor of Montana last night and he said the pipeline was not approved because the application was not complete. It wasn't complete because Nebraska was holding up the process because of a sensitive site and there was no definite route for the pipeline. With no definite route the application can't be complete and the state department can't approve it. What I don't understand is if this is true, why doesn't the prez just say so? Is he trying to keep his environmental whacko base by not stating the facts? Or was the governor full of crap?

The state department has already approved it twice, as have the EPA and most of Obama's advisers. He shocked much of his cabinet by this decision and has pissed off the union leaders.

I had not heard that they approved it, only that he disapproved it. In my need to get all the facts and not rush to judgement I missed some information! The EPA approved it?! Why have advisers when he won't listen to them?! I guess his base is more important than the prosperity of the country. We could really use all those jobs. Why isn't someone calling for impeachment? I was for impeachment because of this issue before I heard the interview last night and I guess I am again. Why do they let this man destroy us? (rhetorical question..answer=profit + corruption)
