How often do you go through pictures on your camera?

And about how many pictures do you have on your camera as of right now? I got a new Canon last summer and so I have around 950 pictures total sitting on my camera (I have a SD card that holds quite a lot of pictures) I was just going to take some random ones off when I realized I still hadn't deleted ones from June, July, all the way to last weekend. I started deleting a few but i realized I really can't.
Even though I have saved copies on my computers and most of them wind up on Facebook, deleting the pictures of my digital camera/SD card seems like a sad way to put an end to good times. I guess I am a picture hoarder.
How about you? Can you learn to live & let go by deleting the pictures off of your camera? How many do you have on yours right now?

I have the same feelings about the pictures in my camera, in my phone, in my SD cards, in my computer, laptop, and iPad.
So late last year, I bought an external hard drive to store them all. The idea was to just have it in one place so I could free up space, and know that I still have them somewhere if I needed any of the pictures.
That idea still needs to be acted upon!

I regularly clear my cameras. I take many pictures and don't want them to get out of control. I constantly upload them to computer, label and organize them into folders. Eventually I burn them to DVD.
I do not intend to end up with a cyber-shoebox of photos where I can't find anything. This way I can find any particular photo(s) according to date, location, and subject.
