Would You Find This Funny?

As you all remember from my post of a few days ago, the police in Guelph and Waterloo are looking for a woman named Shannon, and they think she looks like me. They have questioned me several times when I've gone to Second Cup in Guelph for a coffee. The last time it happened, some other patron at the cafe started asking questions and I told him to mind his own business. Today, the same guy walks up to me and Ashdod I'm Shannon. I told him to buzz off, and never approach me again. He said he was just kidding. Personally I think it's a sick joke. I was doing my own thing, listening to music and mylotting on my iPhone, and he just shows up. What's your opinion of this kind of joke?

Hello :D. I believe that's reason enough to get punched on the throat 5 or 6 times. If I were to guess he was trying to make an ice breaker to chat you up, but he's quite bad at it. So no, I wouldn't find it funny because it could cause you problems, and that's not the type of things one do even as a joke or an ice breaker. If he tries that again you should punch his nose for being such an idiot, there are things one should avoid to say out of respect.

Thank you. I find major fault with the police for starting this whole problem for me in the first place. I live in this cafe, Abd I'm here more than the owner. If there was someone here that looked like me, I'd know it.

Thanks! I'm thinking of sending my picture to the paper and telling the town that I'm not Shannon, and they'd better leave me alone, cops included.

if he ever does it again, ask in your "sexiest" voice "Who wants to know?" and then write down his name and say "The next time you ask I'm getting a restraining order"

I think he should have minded his own business....I wonder sometimes where people get off saying things to others that is none of their business...I have people come up to me and aske me if I have hip problems because I am limping...now I would never walk up to someone who had a problem and ask about it.....never!

I don't think that's funny. You had every right to say "buzz off". The things people joke about... PSH. I didn't read your other discussion apparently, as this is the first I am hearing of this - BUT JUST WOW! That's insane and must be incredibly annoying to be in that situation. I hope they find this Shannon character soon for your sake.
