There was a bee in the house today, I didn't let him in someone else did, but it was one HUGE bee. I was about to scream because well, I hate big bees. I was afraid of being stung. Luckily it was taken care of and quickly or I'd have been worried about the bee for hours, that's just me.
Well it's spring here, so guess I've got to get used to the bee's and snakes and such. I love Spring and Summer, but not some of nature's creatures so much.

If you had been in a home alone he probably would not have gotten in. If he did, you would have figured out a way to deal with it. I have never been stung by a large bumble bee, but many times by honey bees. I am more concerned about them.

I think I've only been stung once or twice. One time I didn't notice it for a few minutes and when I did I stood there staring at it for awhile before I finally freaked myself out and started crying. I went to my mom about it and she said it would be just fine and I said "okay" and went right back outside.

I don't like it when a be gets in the house either, they are not really out to hurt us, but just having them inside the house gives me that creepy feeling, I will usually open the patio door wide and hope the bee takes the hint. I don't like killing things unless I have to. If it doesn't get the hint and fly out then I will get a can of hair spray and give it a spray and jump back. The hair spray locks up the wings and they just kind of fall, they will usually die shortly after that. Then I sweep it up in the dust pan and throw it out in the garbage.

The person who got rid of it tried the door open effect but to no avail. The bee went towards it but not out so instead he got a can of raid and SPRAYED the thing. It swooped out of the house and he closed the door. I am glad that it was taken care of fast. I was cooking supper but wanted to make sure I saw it get out.

I went for a walk this afternoon, and I particularly noticed the bees on the dandelions. This was because those were my honeybees, and they were gathering nectar to take back to the hives to make into honey for me. I love those bees with all my heart. Honey is nature's sweetener, and its a most wonderful food! I'm never happier than when I'm working in a bee-yard, surrounded by thousands of busy honey bees, flying back and forth, bringing in the sweet nectar from the fields and trees!

Sounds like it was a bumble bee. They are big. My grandma climbed up on the ladder to the rafters in the old garage. There was a nest of yellow jackets in it and they stung my grandma on her forehead. She knew to put mud on it and took care of it herself being the smart ole gal she was. lol

Living with parents in a province is very memorable part for me and now that I am working in the city and miles a part with the family it is much missed to be home again though summer is the best season to be home.

I do not like bees at all. I am alergic to their sting so I would not have been much help either. I do not like spiders, but if I have to kill one I will. I know that this is the time of year when they come out and I hope to stay away from mosquitoes, but I usually get bitten by one or two. randy teasingly says the mosquitoes love honey and since I am sweet thats why they love me.
